Today we went to the bowling alley in the Dorfkrug Beckert. We received a very friendly welcome. There is a small menu at the bowling alley, but we were also able to order from the normal menu and then went over to the restaurant to eat. No problem at all. Everyone was very nice and friendly. We ordered the Dorfkrug platter and various schnitzels. Everything was very tasty. We'd love to come back ❣️ We can't rate the rooms because we didn't stay there.

Not recommended for WOMO — remote and you were simply ignored

I thought I had come to a really old German restaurant, but the owners have been running it for 17 years and have no idea how long it has been around. The fries were dry, the schnitzel was ok and fresh but was covered with a ready-made sauce (Jäger) that didn't taste good. Condition was friendly. I wouldn't come back.

Unfortunately it was a very sobering visit. At first, when entering the very rustic location, there was hope for good German cuisine. The service was friendly. The ambience is not contemporary, but that wouldn't have been a bad thing if the food was good. The furnishings are very old and the air in the restaurant was not good. The food was barely edible. The Jägerschnitzel appeared to be fresh, but it was covered under a thick layer of Knorr Jäger sauce. The sauce was very salty and “refined” with canned mushrooms. The cream sliced meat, on the other hand, was very bland and almost tasteless. The sauce seemed to have been diluted with water. The whole thing was “beautified” with a dollop of sweet cream. The noodles and the frozen carrots also had no seasoning whatsoever. The bottom line is that there is one star for the friendly service and the well-chilled drinks.

Wonderful old pub with charm 👍🏻 Good-humored local people who celebrated spontaneously, very nice and attentive landlady, really delicious home-style cooking. We always look for remote, unknown country inns and were not disappointed here either. This is a cult that shouldn't be lost among all the bars and lounges.

Great restaurants, super nice staff and great food. (Little tip: try the flambé pizza). Were there with the motorhome, great parking space for one night and easy to reach from the motorway. If you go out to eat there, the parking space is even free. Really recommended!!

A completely normal village pub and the possibility of staying overnight in a motorhome.

We stood with the motorhome on the square in front of the restaurant. The space resembles a parking lot for junk vehicles.Electricity and water were available. The food was good and inexpensive.
