We spent a wonderful weekend here. Very nice farm, mainly Icelandic horses and Black Forest horses. We are actually not Isi riders and were very enthusiastic about the willingness to run, the rideability and the friendly nature of the Icelanders. The horses are kept in herds in a species-appropriate manner with plenty of exercise. For each rider there is first a riding lesson on the square, where the riding skills are assessed. Then there is a diverse program to choose from: riding lessons on the arena for every level, horseback rides, vaulting, groundwork and much more. On the first day we were a bit overwhelmed by the size of the farm, but all the employees are very nice and helpful, and with the large offer, the riders then split up into small groups, we were never more than 5 on the rides. The accommodation is simple (bunk beds) but super clean and well thought out (mosquito screens, blinds). Food is simple but plentiful and tasty. There is always enough water available, also in the cleaning area. The whole complex is very nicely laid out, there are many retreats and a pool for refreshment. It was perfect for us, we will definitely be back.

We stayed for a long weekend and must say that everyone is so well organised and it’s a joy to see how well cared for the horses are. The rooms are basic but clean and everyone super friendly!

We've been there before. We liked it so much that we booked another riding weekend for the girls. Great horses, clean, beautiful yard. The rooms are very simple and functional. In addition to the horses, there is a play area and a digging box with a seesaw. The fields and meadows are fantastic for horseback riding. The staff was always friendly.

The educational leave was great, but everything else about it was catastrophic.Due to a booked ride, a riding lesson had to be taken in advance. When the horses were getting ready, it was spontaneously decided that the group would be divided into two due to too many participants. This could have been communicated at midday as the registration was in the morning ran beforehand, so the riding lesson didn't take place until 1 hour later.Introduction to the riding instructor?! There wasn't, there was another person on the pitch too, you didn't know whether they belonged to the farm, were a friend or something else. There was more interest in the cell phone and private conversations than in the riding students, assistance with riding?! Suggestions for improvement or something else?! Unfortunately not available at all and most of the participants were quite disappointed that the horses couldn't be ridden in tölt... another reason why you would want to ride an Icelandic horse... the frustration after the lesson was pretty high for us and the price Hour was 45€ which was pretty cheeky.Feedback about the lesson followed the next morning in the office. At first it was received quite well, but then there was a twist in the conversation. It was our fault that no one had an Icelander to tölt, we could have communicated this in advance. Sorry, but that's the job of the staff to communicate something like that or to ask if it would be nice, if there is interest in it, etc. They also said that it wasn't a real riding lesson, but actually just an hour to see how we did Sitting in the saddle and which horse is suitable for us for the ride... to ask for 45€ for that is more than cheeky and the communication apparently didn't work at all..Most of them canceled the second riding lesson for the day, we still don't know whether the riding instructor was one, but she accepted the criticism and this time also introduced herself and put in a lot more effort. We would have liked the staff to come to us to be more customer-oriented, there was no suggestion like: pay attention, you can ride again today or we would only charge half the cost for the failed riding lesson, which according to the staff wasn't a lesson either.Unfortunately there was nothing at all from the staff, it gave the impression that the staff didn't really care about the well-being of the guests. There were also complications with payment and room allocation. Some participants had booked a single room, but they were divided into a shared room. People who booked a shared room with a single room if possible booked a single room and did not have to pay the surcharge. The people who had booked a single room from the start were put into a shared room, and by exchanging rooms in the group, everyone was satisfied in the end. When we left, this was communicated again in the office, and all that was said was that I would not arrange the room and that the surcharge would still have to be paid.Sorry guys, but how can it be that someone who booked a shared room was lucky enough that participants canceled had a single room and the person who booked a single room got a shared room from the start?! It has been shown once again that we don't give a shit about the guests, the main thing is that the money comes in and compromises or accommodating the customers are alien to the staff on this farm.Unfortunately not recommended, although the educational leave offer is very great.Staff very unfriendly, it seems that the guest doesn't care. Communication within the team seems to be almost non-existent.

Today (3 girls) went to the riding stables day.The riding staff and riding instructors were super friendly. There are really great horses here. We had 2 riding lessons, in the morning we went to the square to find out what your riding skills were like and how saddle-proof you were, and in the afternoon we went into the terrain, into the beautiful Flemish forest. What we didn't like so much was the food. In advance we were asked whether it was vegetarian, vegan or normal. There was nothing described at the buffet and the selection was poor. When we came back from the ride in the afternoon, the cake was unfortunately gone except for two pieces.Since we weren't there for the food but for the horses 🐴 we had a really nice day overall. ☺️

The riding stable has been our destination four times and it was a really nice riding weekend again this time:The food is delicious and plentiful, the kitchen puts a lot of effort into grilling and baking cakes. The rooms are very rustic - if you like holiday camps, this is the place for you. In my opinion, the price is quite expensive, especially since room requests were not taken into account. The riding program is good - you submit your wishes in the evening and ride in different groups and levels the next day. With 1-2 exceptions, the riding instructors are motivated and pedagogically skilled when explaining. We were only disappointed on the last day when our daughters neither got the riding program nor the horse they wanted and were then randomly assigned somewhere else. Despite two requests and requests for changes, the plan was pushed through for no apparent reason. We were annoyed to pay 45 euros for this riding lesson that didn't make anyone happy. In general, we would like to see better communication and moderation throughout the day! We knew from experience what was next, many around us looked around cluelessly at the points of the day and received no explanation. A fixed daily routine in written form in the yard or someone who briefly discusses the day and the highlights (such as stick bread) in the morning would have been helpful for many.In the evening there is always a program after dinner - that's great! Going to the paddock, archery, etc. are highlights. Our campfire would have almost failed if we parents hadn't taken it into our own hands and offered to help. The riding instructor responsible would not have been able to cover it due to a lack of resources. Here again, some families missed the fire because they simply didn't know about it - a shame! All in all, a great farm with lots of friendly people and a feel-good atmosphere. For the expensive price, 720.00 euros for mother and child on 2 days, there are still some weaknesses, so we will be looking for another farm next year.
