Beautiful guest house with great renovated and lovingly furnished rooms, cyclist-friendly, great communication with the owner, who pays a lot of attention to the well-being of the guests, breakfast was very good and varied, we would like to come back :)

We spent our first night of our 4 day bike tour here. Together with our three children we had a holiday apartment in the ELB Nest. An extra bed for the third child was no problem. We were warmly welcomed, ate in the in-house restaurant in the evening and watched the European Championship final with other guests in a nice atmosphere. The next morning a delicious breakfast with fresh rolls awaited us. Our bikes were dry and safe at the back of the property. No other accommodation on this trip was as loving, individual and comfortable as the ELB Nest. We all felt very comfortable. The next morning we were able to stock up on provisions in a small supermarket right across the street, which was very practical.

An unforgettable time and outstanding support for my mother-in-law and me.Collecting us when all the batteries are empty and lovingly hugging us on all levels). This is not something to be taken for granted and it meant a lot to me. Thank you for that, dear Katrin.Thank you for the worry phone on the route, for your spontaneity in collecting us and our bikes with the horse trailer, for your great, warm and lively way of welcoming us and for the taste of Nutella to help us fall asleep. If I could, I would give 10 stars too! Spending the night here was great and by far the best overnight stay on the Elbe cycle path! Starting with the warm welcome from Katrin and the tips on the bike path that she gave us beforehand, to choosing the newly renovated rooms, which were really very nice, to the breakfast, which we received “exclusively”. Dear Katrin, dear Heinrich, we really enjoyed our stay with you. We had a very relaxing night and wish you all the best for the ELB Nest 🤗🤗🤗

You will find the sweetest hostess in Germany here. We have never been received so warmly anywhere. Our room was brand new, very pleasant, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We slept in a spacious and soft bed and it was very quiet. Beautiful bathroom, beautiful view and a plentiful breakfast. Moreover, the Elbnest is located in a beautiful area and a quiet street and the tavern that the hosts run is a nice extra to have a nice cocktail or something else in the evening.We see ourselves returning!

We stayed at the ElbNest for 1 night two days ago. The welcome was very warm and we were allowed to choose one of the newly created rooms. These were designed with a lot of love and taste. In the adjacent Elbstübchen there were homemade burgers of our own creation. Instead of burger buns, there are potato waffles as a basis. Delicious! We didn't miss anything at breakfast. We'd love to come back.

Very pleasant and nice operators from the moment we contacted them😊 but this was more than confirmed during the visit.The restaurant and the outdoor area are clean and very comfortable, plus the food is delicious.I would be happy to come back at any time.

We are currently on the Elbe cycle path. We came across this while looking for cheap accommodation. As soon as we arrived we were greeted very friendly and warmly. Our room in the attic was recently renovated and we were the first to spend the night there. Our room is very nice, bright and modernly furnished. The people who work here were very nice and accommodating. Despite the fact that we only got there at 8, we were still able to order food even though the kitchen closes at 8.The food was also very tasty and perfect value for money. There were also dishes that you (probably) don't get anywhere else.

We found it sparkling clean and were very pleased with the tasteful furnishings. We slept really well and woke up with a view of the garden. Attentive from the friendly hosts: drinks were available. Everything tip-top highly recommended, many greetings and thanks from Hamburgers

On our bike tour to Berlin we stayed in the holiday apartment for one night. The apartment is small but nice and well furnished and the landlady is very friendly, the food in the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast before departure is tasty and plentiful.We can only recommend the accommodation.VG made of A'holz

We spent 3 days in the Elb-Nest. And we really liked it.The apartment is tastefully and lovingly furnished. The apartment and bathroom are very well maintained, comfortable and clean.Katrin and Heinrich are great hosts who are there to help and take care of you with advice, support and lots of tips.Full recommendation from our side.

Everything already mentioned in the previous comments. From booking to checkout everything was great. We were allowed to stay overnight in the apartment next to the small restaurant with 3 cyclists and would have liked to have stayed longer. The food is also to be praised - and there is something for everyone. For us the highlight of Neu Darchau.

We, 2 cyclists on the green belt, stayed overnight in Elbnest for one day on the 14-day tour.The booking was problem-free and an order confirmation and a request for a deposit (incidentally the only one for 13 different overnight stays from apartments, guesthouses, hotels and guest rooms) followed promptly.When we arrived we had a rainy day with a 60km headwind. Completely soaked, we called 2 hours before arrival to arm the sauna (it's in the AB). “Well, I should have read the terms and conditions, they only say in winter operation” was the answer we got! Mood sank! Arrival then short form 6:00 p.m. Tuesdays - all restaurants including the landlady's restaurant - she also needs some peace and quiet!Our mood didn't improve when she offered to make us a currywurst. After showering we went to dinner with relatives (Plan B).After returning, another wheat beer from the full fridge, filled out the tally sheet and... Huh? A 0.5 liter wheat beer at a cost price of €4.20? COST PRICE!!!!!That went beyond all my expectations of cost price - extrapolated to 20 = €84 for a case of wheat beer!!!! THAT'S USURY... we were in Wismar and paid the same for a beer in a restaurant (including all additional costs and use of the restaurant). We have already offset the toilet, water, sitting, etc. with the room rent!“… I have to live on something too…” came the answer!Summary:Apartment great, price performance ok, drink prices WICHER, reference to terms and conditions VERY AUDIOUS,We wish you continued success, but unfortunately we will have to be without us in the future!
