For now: clear recommendation! Processing via Airbnb was quick and easy. The hosts are very very hospitable and accommodating. You book one of the 4 trailers in the hosts' large garden. The trailer we stayed in was very simple but no less comfortably furnished. The beds were comfortable, there is a coffee maker and a refrigerator. The look from the inside is unique and the built-in LED strips look very nice. The garden itself is extremely well maintained. There are also 2 quiet dogs living there and there is a cage with chipmunks and shrews. If you feel like it, you can also spend your evening with the hosts, who can tell you a lot about the area. There is a family atmosphere. We used the place as an overnight stay from Europa Park as it was perfectly located on our way home.

Very cozy and rustic place with lots of lovely little things. We immediately felt at home there. The atmosphere is simply unique. As soon as you open the gate to the courtyard you enter another world. The brother family and the boys are always very friendly and helpful. The trailer was nicely prepared for us and the bed was also comfortable. So if you are looking for something original you should definitely stay there. We would be happy to come by again at the next opportunity. Best wishes from Hesse from Yuna & Sebastian

For our research on the Black Forest Central/North travel guide, parking spaces for motorhomes and hikes on the Kandel-Höhenweg, we found an overnight stay in Gengenbach. …

A wonderful, lovingly maintained garden with great details and a relaxing hammock:) There are a total of 2 trailers and a garden shed available as sleeping accommodation! You immediately feel at home and the hospitality is great!! After a weekend stay with Karl Heinz and his family (including 2 super loving and sweet dogs) I booked another week! You can unwind and explore the area with great hiking trails and quarry lakes. The entire accommodation was sparkling clean and the bathrooms in a separate trailer are well equipped and also very clean!! Nothing is missing!! You can also borrow a grill from Karl Heinz or go to a nice restaurant in the village. You always get great tips from the host about where to go. I can only recommend this accommodation and it certainly won't be the last time I'll be there.

We discovered Gengenbach and the offer of sleeping in a trailer through an article in the magazine. …
