Very friendly staff. The breakfast is great, everything your heart desires. The rooms are large, bright and clean. The beds are getting old, but the mattresses are fine.Great for a short vacation.Price/performance ratio is very good.

After a hike with 13 people we stopped at the Höhenhaus Odenwald. We were really surprised: the menu is not extensive but instead offers seasonal Odenwald specialties. Many of our group had different foods. Everything was homemade with fresh ingredients. The dishes were not run of the mill. You could tell that the chef creates the dishes with passion and always knows how to add a special “kick” to the dish. The plates were very lovingly prepared which rounded the whole thing off. Thank you also for the friendly and family atmosphere. We'd love to come back.

Had breakfast there and enjoyed an excellent buffet!Lots of choice. From sausage, cheese, yoghurt, muesli, cornflakes, fruit, delicious homemade jams, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, various juices and coffees... Simply everything your heart desires 😊Very good service!Price performance top 👍And the best thing was the great view. We sat on the back terrace with a view over the Odenwald 😃We were spontaneously shown rooms for possible overnight stays later. All beautifully clean and friendly furnished, with a great view.🌄Highly recommended!!! 👌🏻

We ate in the Bauernstubb several times in winter and were always able to enjoy wonderfully tender meat, delicious hearty pea soup or fresh cake. The service is very helpful and warm with “oureweller” charm. It can be cramped and crowded on sunny, snowy days, but if you like it cozy and rustic, this is the place for you. In summer in the Höhenhaus you can enjoy the great view instead of a cozy living room. We always enjoy coming back 👍😀

This hotel has not earned a star and should be removed. We don't have a good word to say about it! Hotel room cold, shower cold, no TV on the first day, 2nd day only 4 channels, heating did not get hot enough because there was too much air in it, and also made too much noise, door was stuck. All in all this hotel was a nightmare and is not recommended.

Neunkirchen is the highest elevation in the Odenwald. There used to even be a ski lift with floodlights. Recommended as a destination. When the weather is nice with a great view of the Taunus and Frankfurt. The Höhenhaus is a hotel and restaurant right next to the large parking lot.

Had dinner there today after a nice walk. Very cozy and rustic furnishings. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food (a tarte flambée) was always top class.

Went there today for a run to the Kaiserturm, on the way back we walked past the Höhenhaus and read the Odenwälder Buffet and immediately felt like we were in good hands. It was so nice, really great company and a super good buffet that we were there from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Top keep it up .See you soon
