During a hiking trip lasting several days, I arrived in Großfahner and unfortunately my hotel/pension list said there was a restaurant on site. Actually, I should have eaten somewhere beforehand. Mr. Fleischmann quickly prepared a rich bread meal. I am very grateful for that.The room was clean and heated quickly (rainy October when I was traveling). The breakfast was very rich and the owners were very welcoming but not intrusive. Also very helpful with the route, so that I didn't have to go back to the previous town.I would be happy to come by again if a hiking trip takes me through Groß Fahner again.

4*, there were a few drawbacks, the owners were very nice and helpful, but there were knocking noises in the rooms throughout the stay and they were very poorly soundproofed, the road was under renovation in the area around the boulevards and there was no replacement parking lot, the positives were definitely the breakfast and room service and they provided it properly The kitchen is free of charge, I can generally recommend it

We had a family reunion there. The accommodation is as you would expect. The owners are very friendly. For our allergy sufferers there were homemade rolls and pancakes. In the evening we grilled in the yard. Between the host family, cat, chicken chicks and flight attempts by young falcons, we felt very comfortable.

Very family run house. Great breakfast. It wasn't a problem to get breakfast at 6:30 a.m. so that you could drive to the Erfurt trade fair in time. At dinner we were able to partake in the buffet at a family celebration. Delicious fresh and home-made food at a really fair price. The surroundings with lots of beautiful nature round off the whole thing. Pets were also welcome. If we're in the Erfurt area again, we'll be happy to stay at the old captain's house again.

We came with almost 20 people. We were all received very hospitably. The breakfast was rich and delicious.The rooms are quite different. The holiday apartments seem to be quite modern, at least the ones in the attic. But my friend and I stayed in a small double room where from the website we expected a double bed but it was two singles. A bit inconvenient. The cleanliness in our room was also poor and we discovered a bed bug.The house cat also jumped around the rooms, which of course wouldn't be a pleasant surprise for allergy sufferers.A mouse came scurrying out of the closet in another room.The website promises more than you will find on site.

Good day dear travel friends,I wanted to stop here with my family for a special occasion. Unfortunately, our reservation from weeks before was suddenly canceled and given to so-called regular guests. Maybe the sudden cancellation was due to the incompetence of the staff there, but I really don't recommend booking if you don't want to sleep on the street.Have a nice trip
