It's strange that a guest leaves his untidy room and kitchen here. What is the point of this? Regardless, everyone should be happy with it. There is nothing to complain about the rooms and the furnishings. But if a guest is caught smoking in the room, there could be a bad review. Maybe you shouldn't drink so much, or at least use the smoking area 😜 It's logical that the landlord doesn't react positively. After all, it's about the subsequent guests. The guesthouse is run with passion and we always try to fulfill every guest's wishes.

To be fair, we didn't end up seeing the property because we had to cancel at short notice. I therefore only rate the communication with the owner before and after our booking. This was slow - if there was any response at all - and unfortunately not once responsive. Because of this, we decided to switch to another hotel for our next stay.

The room seemed musty and sparsely furnished. The price was completely excessive, and as a customer I was also subject to a "misunderstanding" (according to the landlord) regarding the price, which I believe was deliberately made by the very unfriendly landlord in a phone call before booking and also in the answer to my email query has not been clarified. I felt deliberately deceived and cannot recommend this accommodation.

I stayed in this guesthouse for a total of 3 nights. The rooms are ok for the price.I booked the guesthouse to attend a legal exam and lectures in Gera.Something went wrong when I booked via Booking. The room recommended to me for one person was actually just a side room for the family room and could not be occupied alone. The manager then called me and told me that I had to book another room, but that I should still pay for the first one.This problem could be resolved via the Booking hotline. I was informed that the booking would be canceled and that a room would be provided to me on site at the same price (€159). Payment would have to be made on site (it was now the day before arrival).The owner initially wanted €222 in cash on site. There would be an invoice at some point later. Due to my insistence on €159, I was quoted a new price of €192. I should also pay this immediately in cash. The owner spoke of not wanting to support “this system”. It was now 10 p.m. and it was storming outside. So I was forced to move into the room. Since I didn't have enough cash, I was able to pay the price later. I insisted on an invoice and receipt. The owner then said: "I only have one of them" and "I won't let you tell me how to run my business". Otherwise I was threatened with expulsion, so I paid the amount.When I finally received the invoice with payment note, it was issued incorrectly. I complained about this. The owner then tried to snatch the bill from me so that I no longer had any proof of payment. I was able to prevent this and was then verbally attacked harshly.I've now been here for the last evening. I still haven't received a correct invoice. The owner is no longer in the guesthouse either. On my last call I was pushed away after asking if I could receive the bill now. My final state of affairs is that at some point he will place the bill on a table in the guesthouse so that every guest can see my personal information.The incident has been reported to Booking. Further legal action may be taken.I advise everyone not to visit.

I was Mr. Alex's guest over a year ago. Very good location of the facility, close to the highway. A very nice and helpful host, he offered us drinks and directed us to a nearby restaurant. Very comfortable room, a huge, comfortable bed ensures great sleep comfort. We had a private, large, comfortable bathroom at our disposal. The owner cared about our comfort and was extremely polite! We had a great rest before continuing our journey. I sincerely recommend this facility!

Great room, great parking lot, WiFi totally fine, very friendly host. Overall a great place to stay. I had the bamboo room. You have to share the bathroom and toilet, but no problem at all when using your cell phone. And the best part... He's a podiatrist

The room was clean and tidy. Additionally, due to an incorrect booking, the landlord accommodated us and provided us with a free extra bed for a double room.
