This hotel is located in a quiet town. The atmosphere in the establishment is very friendly and inviting to communicate. Here they can meet you halfway and cook food not included on the menu.

We were guests at the country hostel with our family for a weekend. It is a beautiful house with an impressive history and we were warmly welcomed. There is a new beer garden with a view of the adjacent pond. In the evening you can get various drinks in the dining room and it's very comfortable to sit. The breakfast is very good and we even got homemade jam, no wish was left unfulfilled.Overall everything was as I had hoped and we will be back.Thank you!

A great house! We lived in the large holiday apartment and felt very comfortable. The owner runs the house lovingly and has interesting things to say about the inn and the place. We wish you all the best and would love to come back!

We had a lovely short holiday there last year. The restaurant wasn't open at the time but there is a wonderful knight's restaurant within walking distance. You have to expect that this hotel/building has a long story to tell. So you should expect it to be older. Anyone who appreciates old things and history will feel at home here. If you are looking for new luxury, you should look for another hotel. For us with 3 children the price-performance ratio was right. It's difficult to find an affordable hotel where we can stay together. In the Dorfwirt we had two rooms with their own hallway and two bathrooms. In other hotels we are only offered two independent rooms. But this is not a family vacation for us.We were also very happy to learn something about the history of the house.

My husband and I wanted to have lunch here today, but unfortunately we didn't manage to do so. An advertising banner outside said we are looking forward to your visit, but in reality it didn't look like that. We entered the restaurant (the door was open) and saw an empty dining room when we were called out and asked if we could eat!!!! A voice came from the background calling to usNO!!!! We didn't see anyone. For me these are zero stars 😩But the pond in front of the house was quite nice

Due to Corona, we were looking for a hotel in the Lower Saxony part of the Weserbergland in order to take short vacations on the motorcycle. In the village innkeeper we found a warm and professional host who also has excellent cuisine in his house. We immediately felt very comfortable and welcome. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very cozy when you can enjoy a cool drink or two in the evening after a delicious meal and chat to the owners and guests. The Dorfwirt team puts a lot of passion and work into the constant improvement of the inn, which you always notice positively with every visit. We will be back!

They're open again now, but they only serve drinks. They'll probably be able to make some sandwiches, sausages with bread or a sausage salad, right?? Really sad, but typical for the region and all of Lower Saxony. Just poor

I was admitted there at 8 p.m. while passing through and was given something to eat. The friendly owner runs this historic house. Wish you much success for the future.
