Flat is a bit small but very cozy. Place is very clean and welcoming in the inside. The insulation is a bit poor and heater does not work. Outside is a shared courtyard. Curtains doesn't cover windows entirely

We stayed in the circus wagon for two nights and really enjoyed it. The circus wagon has a very cozy atmosphere. Everything is built with a lot of wood. The car is furnished with love and you feel comfortable from the first minute. Everything was absolutely clean. Especially in a bathroom with a lot of wood, you would have expected moisture and mold, but everything was perfectly maintained. There is a table in the car to sit together. The bed was very comfortable. There is also a small refrigerator where you can put a few drinks. The garden area around the three circus wagons invites you to linger with tables and a wooden lounger.Booking, checking in, paying... everything worked flawlessly and easily.In just a few minutes you can walk into the city and yet the cars are very quiet.A must: Be sure to order breakfast from the circus wagon. You can then have breakfast in the garden and a basket with everything your heart desires (various juices, coffee, various jams, Nutella, eggs, rolls, bread...) is brought directly to your car. A really nice experience that you don't get every day!Small drawback: you have to let the water run for a very, very long time until it warms up. This is completely understandable because it comes from the house via a long pipe and the water is therefore cold to begin with. But this means that a lot of valuable water is wasted unnecessarily, which we found quite a shame.

The three of us (two adults, a 10-year-old child) had a wonderful Pentecost overnight stay in circus wagon No.1!Three of these great cars stand in a semicircle in a very well-kept garden, behind a high privacy hedge.In the evening we listened to the garden birds, played a UNO card game we had brought with us and read books (no TV was missing) and we ate the dinner we had brought with us from the cool box. The seating area with a table is large enough for this, and there is also a wooden table with benches in the garden.The next morning we were served a delicious breakfast (€8/person) in the breakfast room of the guesthouse a few streets away. If requested, it would have been delivered to the circus wagon for €12. Overall, we noticed the cleanliness of the car: beds, towels, toilet, sink and shower were cleaned immaculately...no musty or mold anywhere! We would also like to award a 6th star for this. ⭐️From Holzminden you can use the excellently developed Weser cycle path to reach Höxter (currently 50 everyday people and a very beautiful Weser promenade), Boffzen (Gänseplatz), the swimming lake (Höxter-Godelheim) and the passenger/bicycle ferry at the “Eulenkrug” inn ( Fürstenberg). We had a wonderful short vacation that we will always remember fondly. Thanks for that!Our only suggestion for improvement: A small railing or a safety net for the upper bed would be desirable so that, for example, a small child does not fall from above onto the lower sleepers at night (our older child stayed on top ;-).Warm greetings to the host family Brill!

Very nice little guesthouse with well-furnished rooms and nice hosts. Breakfast was also plentiful and good. Very happy to come again. Great value for money

We spent the night in the circus wagon. It's really nice for one night. Unfortunately, the cars are parked on a very busy street. We were still able to sleep well. Breakfast is very simple and is served per table, meaning it comes with a bread basket and toppings and drinks on the table when you come for breakfast. The price per night is very high considering the standard offered.

Simple, adequate accommodation... fair price at €65/night in a double room, breakfast for €6.50 is completely ok. It's just a shame that breakfast wasn't ready at the agreed time on the first day and that after 45 minutes of breakfast on the second day we were asked to free the table for other guests... I'm at a loss for words... even given the price.Centrally located in Holzminden, very quiet.

The Wilde Heimat holiday apartment is located on a main road. It was almost always very loud in the living room. Relaxation was out of the question there.The apartment itself was mediocre, partly very good, partly in need of renovation.

A really great overnight stay in the circus wagon!There was enough space for the three of us, everything was very comfortably furnished and super clean, we felt very comfortable. The bathroom with shower is also great! There was also a parking space for our bicycles. In the morning breakfast was very tasty, even with homemade jam.We'll be back!
