Very nicely located accommodation. Nice rooms with bathrooms. Everything clean and tidy.You will receive the warmest welcome. Breakfast was very nicely prepared and sufficient.If we are in Bad Kösen or Naumburg again we will definitely stay here again.

We had a completely successful and unforgettable celebration with family and friends in this great location “Alte Scheune Flemmingen”. From the arrangements, preparations, room reservations to the catering, everything went smoothly. The rooms are new and very tastefully decorated. The breakfast the next morning was very plentiful and the breakfast landlady also took great care of the guests' well-being. Thank you for the overall successful stay. The newly designed outdoor area for stays and events in the summer has also become very beautiful. We would be happy to come back and wish you continued success.

The rooms and accommodation are very nice, the staff on site is very friendly.Tip:If you book by telephone, be sure to request a booking confirmation with price!My partner and I expressly wanted to book the cheapest double room for 65 euros per night with the request that our two kids (2 years and 0.5 years) sleep in the bed with us. The lady on the phone of course agreed and offered us a free upgrade to the 'Lavender Room' at no additional cost.The sofa bed for two additional people was included on site without consulting us.After an unpleasant phone call with the owner, it turned out that instead of the agreed €65, we suddenly had to pay €125 for the additional extra bed and the more expensive room!There was no understanding of our situation. We then agreed on a price in between.The accommodation deserves 5 stars, but this guest-unfriendly experience somewhat detracted from our stay.

This facility was closed for a long time.There has been a new operator for a year. You can book the entire facility for events, celebrations and more. The guesthouse rooms have also been newly designed and highly recommended. A visit is definitely recommended. Very, very friendly staff.👌👌

A really nice location and really nice operators, just a bit very warm in the summer. It's still nice to celebrate there. The rooms are small but lovingly furnished. Gladly again.

We quickly looked for a room in this area because we wanted to extend our vacation. That's how we came across the old barn in Flemmingen online. Without hesitation, we booked the last room available, the lavender room. Without ever having heard of this old barn before, we drove there from Franconia. What awaited us then can hardly be described in words; you have to experience it to be believed. After a short phone call, we were welcomed by the manager of the house and warmly welcomed, as if we were already regular guests in the house. She showed us the guesthouse and our room. The lavender room, as the name suggests, everything was decorated in lavender. Everything was very cozy and decorated in a slightly violet color and lavender branches also decorated the room. After a balanced night in a double bed, an additional breakfast awaited us, which left nothing missing. From fresh rolls, honey jam, various cheeses, several types of sausage, even a fresh breakfast egg, to coffee, milk and orange juice, everything was prepared. We really liked it and we would like to spend a few days there again when we are in the area again. We can only recommend the Old Barn. The ambience in the house was also right, it was almost like a museum if you take the creativity of the owners into account. Great event with Carly Peran on August 14th, 2021. The atmosphere was great, nice service staff, delicious grills and steaks. It should perhaps also be mentioned that the toilets were new and very clean.
