It started with access:Closed. We were lucky that the operating family also just came home.Only cash payment was possible at the reception, despite the many supposed payment methods offered on a sign on the counter. The room:Not really clean. No toilet paper. When asked, they didn't necessarily seem to know what toilet paper was - to be fair, due to a not insignificant language barrier. At least equipped with TV and bathroom. Unfortunately not enough for 2 stars.Food:I can't say. Only the operating family sat in the hall in the evening, smoking and not caring whether guests came or not.Staff:IF you meet someone, which is unfortunately not a given here, the operators are quite friendly and approachable... That's why 2 stars. Finally:PAYMENT IN ADVANCE ONLY! Otherwise there is no access to the room. Given the circumstances, perhaps not so incomprehensible...

Yesterday I stood in front of a closed door - together with two other arriving guests. Everyone had reserved in advance and went by bike. There was a note on the door with a telephone number and the note "24 hour reception". The number is identical to the number on the homepage. Despite repeated attempts to call, the message said: "This number is not in use!" - by the way, a landline number that we called several times from different cell phones.Nobody responded to people ringing the doorbell several times, even though there was a sign on the street that said “Biergarten open”.So, dear rafters, you'd better look for another accommodation that is probably a little more expensive, but reliable.

How can a building so beautiful and located directly on the Weser be left so ruined? The whole facility was completely dilapidated, the rooms were dirty, without a television and completely filthy, the whole thing. Very unfortunate, but at least the bill came.

We took a break here today with our group of cyclists. There was good cappuccino and very tasty food. We received a very warm welcome and excellent service. We'd love to come back. Many greetings from the Solling-Leine cyclists

So the visit here was......... in a word "adventurous"Service, price and offer are clearly clear and some guests would certainly have become angry, not without reason. But for me there is and remains a difference between cappuccino and coffee, and not just in the price.

A good hotel for the low price ("You get, what you pay for"), but it has more of the character of a youth hostel or hostel. The location directly on the Weser is first-class. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio of the breakfast cannot be assessed. 10 euros is too much for that. 5 euros would be appropriate

Very clean, very attentive staff and the food is a culinary delight. Everything is fresh and everything is prepared in-house, even the breading of the schnitzel is made in-house.

Really great. You sit with a beautiful view directly on the banks of the Weser. Good starting point for bike tours. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Gladly again.
