the Price was good for the rooms....the room size was great. the place to store the belongings was huge. it was very quiet in the aria..just as hoped. for the shower you were not aloud to be to tall...hot water worked well. Down side... if you don't know what time you will arive and just show up like that...you will have to wait atleast one houer for the owners to arive. and they only take cash..no card payment possible.

Very basic and inexpensive hotel located on the edge of the woods in a rustic setting. This hotel is cheap. Please don't expect luxury. Remember to bring a towel.||The owners are wonderful! If you're looking for value for money, you found it.

The room was not as booked (only 4 beds and in one room instead of 3 rooms) and the landlady showed no interest in it. In addition, a bed was missing, which only had to be set up after arrival. We couldn't find the shower either.

Never book there again!!!Booked 2 double rooms and 1 single room. We were given a 4-bed room on site. Upon request, we were offered an extra bed. The owner wasn't even there in person. The room was in bad condition. We had to look for another guesthouse. If it were possible, no stars

The rooms were a complete disappointment! We booked 2 double rooms and 1 single room - we got a room with 4 beds in it. We are “strangers” who don’t want to sleep together in the same room. The 5th bed was still missing and should only be put up after arrival. The rooms themselves were very run down. The room stank! After a phone call with the landlady, who just stuttered and didn't respond to our problems, we canceled the reservation. It was too disgusting to even spend a night there! Not recommended!!!! (The shower couldn't even be found yet)

Unfortunately this hotel is very disappointing. Mold on the ceiling, a very dirty oven and an outdated, unkempt kitchen make the stay unpleasant. Of particular concern is mold, which poses a serious health risk. Hygiene and maintenance don't seem to be a priority here. Definitely wouldn't recommend!

A quiet and relaxing place with a view of the forest.Excellent value for money.Simple, clean, functional.The beds are comfortable.In just a few minutes' walk you are in town, with a bakery, butcher, pharmacy, gas station (they have fresh bread rolls even on public holidays), restaurant, etc...The whole house was very spacious and you could find everything you needed in the kitchen. Since it was winter we didn't use the outdoor area, but there is plenty of space here too.The owner is very polite, courteous and reliable.We felt very comfortable there and enjoyed the 4 nights in this peaceful place.WiFi and parking free of charge!We'd love to come back!

The house is only 12 kilometers away from Cologne main station. There is sufficient parking space. The rooms are simply furnished but very clean. We were totally satisfied and will be back soon.

It's very worn out. The double room with shower is an absolute disaster. The shower is falling apart, not suitable for showering. The door doesn't close properly, so it's cold as hell in the winter. Next night in a different room, that was only marginally better. There is no light in the hallway. Everything is very run down and needs to be renovated urgently.
