Lovely stay here, waking up to cool breeze and a delicious breakfast. Short walk to town/the castle. Beverages available 24/7, which helps a lot as stores close early. Easy parking. Very kind and helpful staff that are happy to use their phone apps to help with German/English translation. Cute building with a handful of rooms across a few floors. Feels newly renovated. Would come back!

My wife and I visited Cochem and this hotel at the end of september 2024. For several reasons this is an incredible place.1. Its location. You're not really in the centre of Cochem, but it only takes about an 8 minutes walk to get there. You're also very close to the trainstation2. You can park your car for free here. There are about 8 places for guests, which is fine when you stay in september. I don't know if there are enough parking spots when you visit in July or August though3. Great breakfast4. There's a terrace with a view of the Mosel that you can use. You can take a beverage out of the fridge and pay for it later. We sat on the terrace at about 3 or 4 'o'clock, just reading a book or a magazine5. Great service. The hotel is family owned6. Great rooms in a great (old) building. It took six months to renovate it but it sure looks amazing. We will certainly visit again!

It was absolutely wonderful. We had such a great time with the most wonderful Turkish family as hosts. The room was small but great and certainly very clean and we had a huuuge bathroom. The host family's mother brought Turkish tea specifically for us just because we asked and she just beamed with enthusiasm because somebody was interested in their culture. The entire family was a pleasure to be with. The house was beautiful and charming and just recently renovated with great amenities. The breakfast is one of the highlights together with the pension-atmosphere, where you can happily talk to the other guests/tourists to exchange experiences or meet new friends, but it is also no problem to just remain private and on your own if you like it quiet. The location is great, walking distance to almost everything in Cochem, but not right in the center with the associated hyper-tourism. The parking lot right at the house was also very convenient and the grassy area right at the river was just across the road from the Hotel, perfect for an evening walk or a lunch picnic in the sun.Pricing was good/average and I would come here again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I spent a weekend in Cochem and are very happy with our choice of accommodation! As described on its website, it is a historic guesthouse with many details from the past, but also just as many modern touches. It's the perfect mix of old and new! A guesthouse to feel comfortable and definitely recommend. The service, the breakfast buffet, the terrace with a view of the Reichsburg couldn't be better. Really great!
