Such a lovely experience!! We heartily recommend dining here as Melanie and Pierre are so enthusiastic and passionate about sharing their love of French food and wine. Pierre was most accommodating to my allergies, which I recognize is not easy! I loved the poached egg atop the salad with Chanterelles (!!!!) and the duck entree was delicious! I was even able to have dessert, an apple tart (!!!) and a quenelle of the most decadent dark chocolate glacé. Melanie was lovely in making sure our wine glasses were never empty, shared her experiences in Southern France, and gave us a tour of their banquet area and outdoor patio. The Bistro was warm, intimate, relaxing, and the meal, delicious! Please visit and support this couple’s efforts. Thank you, Pierre and Melanie!

We came for Christmas day. Great service and atmosphere. We just felt that the food was a little on the safe side. We had hoped for the food to be a little braver and daring but I think the aim may be to please the majority. We particularly liked the accompanying wines to each of the courses.

Rooms are cozy and ours was quite large. Room was clean and breakfast (served at the table, no buffet) was good and seemed home made. ||Our room didn't have curtains for privacy or to make the room dark at night, that's just good to know.

Food was acceptable but I don't speak much German and the staff didn't seem to speak much English so was a bit of a boundary there. Seemed like a nice atmosphere though. I would possibly eat here again if I was in the area.
