Good location on quiet side of the river which suited us and friends on our first visit to this area. Only a 10 mins walk to man town by the riverbank. …

If money is all that matters, you can stay here again. I got a room here at relatively short notice for a small thaler, which would otherwise only have been possible for many times more in the tourist hotspot of Cochem. But if you want to have a feel-good holiday, this is the wrong place.Location: Like almost all houses near the shore, this one also offers overnight accommodation. Only 50 meters from the very quiet riverside road (actually only a few residents drive there every now and then), the house is opposite the Reichsburg Cochem. At the end of an eventful day, pull yourself a Mosel wine from a nearby vending machine and put your feet up on a bench on the bank with this view: awesome! The rooms in the house face north, so it doesn't get too hot even in midsummer. Fits! But that's about it for the positive sides.Breakfast: A relaxed start to the day is difficult. In the tiled (and therefore noisy) mini breakfast room there is only space for three tables for seven people. You just want to get out of there quickly, and the breakfast menu is also very clear and always the same. The cleanliness: Very okay, nothing rots here. However, apparently only cleaning occurs when guests change. In the five days of my stay, there wasn't even a vacuuming, the trash can was emptied or the towels were changed. Weak!Comfort: Room with bed, cupboard, table, chair and sink is okay. What's not okay is the far too narrow shower/toilet combination, which was squeezed into a room of just under two square meters. It's almost impossible to dry off in a relaxed manner, and when you step out of the shower you also have to be careful not to trip over the toilet. And if you want to sit on the toilet (it happens), you have to be careful not to hit your head on the door. (And no, I'm not 1.90). The only thing that helps is: leave the door open. Of course it's not a problem in a single room, but somehow it's not the point.

We felt very comfortable in this small and fine hotel. Everything is clean and lovingly furnished. We didn't miss anything at breakfast either, there is something for every taste. And what's really great is that you sit down at a set table.Haus Anka is located directly on the Moselle and very centrally. We can only recommend it and would book there again at any time.

We had to move once in the 5 days we stayed. The rooms aresmall but ok. The advertised WiFi is wishful thinking. The breakfast was very clear and something was always missing. “The boss was always trying hard”

Nice little guesthouse opposite the Cochem center on the other side of the Moselle. Small, clean rooms, very attentive landlady who offers a good breakfast in three stages, as the breakfast room only has space for three tables.Good base for excursions in all directions. The parking lot in front of the house only has space for 4 cars. If it's full you have to look for somewhere outside that doesn't have a parking meter.

This small guesthouse has free parking right in front of the door, with the bike path along the Moselle not far away. The breakfast is nicely prepared and provides a good start to the day..... …

Lovingly furnished guesthouse in the Cond district of Cochem, which is only a few minutes' walk from the historic city center of Cochem. The guesthouse is family-run. The owner is super nice, the breakfast is based on the wishes of the guests and is more than filling, which makes a great start to the day. We like to think back to this guesthouse, which hosted us for a few days on the Moselsteig trail. The restaurants in the surrounding area, where you can end the evening with a good dinner with a good glass of Moselle wine, also complete the picture of a successful stay. Therefore: Clear recommendation from us.

The location of the hotel is a little difficult to find, not so central, and parking is not very convenient, but the surrounding area is quiet and the environment is good, perfect for walking or running. …
