I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years and it never fails to impress me. Kirsten the owner always makes you feel really welcome. Rooms are always Immaculate and location is brilliant. The restaurant is also first class. I will obviously be returning.

We asked for a reservation for 19 but could only get it at 19:45, when we came the place was almost empty though. Service was slow and confused. When we ate, we were ignored for the better part of 30 minutes even though we wanted to order more to drink. When the personnel eventually showed up at 20:58 we were informed the kitchen had decided to close, so we wouldn't be able to order dessert. The food was OK, it was chanterelle season, so we mostly ordered from the seasonal menu.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner of authentic German food in a very nice setting. The service was good and the wine selection was comprehensive. This is a great place to taste the local cuisine and the local wine. Be sure to make a reservation as the locals know this restaurant is excellent!

We eat here in October 2022 and enjoyed our meal almost… The food was good, but it took over 30 minutes for our drinks order to be taken. In the end we had to remind them we were there. After this, things went rather better and the drinks and food arrived. The food was good, a Grillpfanne was particularly delicious. Overall I would be happy to recommend eating here. We were also staying at the hotel that evening and were lucky even despite staying there to get a table!

Amazing gem that was recommended by owner of our accommodation, Villa Vie. (Also highly recommend this accommodation.)Definitely a must for a dinner when in Cochem.Bookings are highly recommend, as gets busy.We were very fortunate, no booking and were busy, but accommodated us with a cute table.Staff were fantastic.Menu's are in German and the staff don't speak a lot of English (their English was much better than my German) but were easy to understand and very helpful.Steak was amazing, best in Germany, so far.Very good prices.

Lovely experience. Superb and tasty food at great prices. Excellent wine selection. Very very friendly lady attended us, fast and attentive service. Ambience is great with outdoor seating as well. Overall the best restaurant in Cochem !

I was recommended this restaurant by a local wine producer, because his wines are served there and so I could try them: well, I can''t be grateful enough to him.Great unassuming place, great atmosphere and excellent food. Do give it a try when in Cochem, that is if you find place, as it often is packed with diners.
