I stayed at this accommodation with my family and unfortunately we were very disappointed. A complete holiday home was booked, which turned out to be two apartments connected via an unsecured trap door with an unsecured staircase.Due to the unsecured trap door, we were unable to use the holiday home to its full extent; we had closed the trap door during the day, which meant that the lower floor (or the lower apartment) was only used for sleeping. (The trap door was not visible in the pictures on booking.com!)The double bed in the lower room was comfortable, but the two "single beds" in the upper part of the house turned out to be a very uncomfortable sofa bed, so four of us ended up sleeping in the double bed just to be able to sleep at all.It was mostly clean, but in the kitchen we found a stove that was still full of grease from our previous one, and the microwave looked similar. The equipment was rather poor, small forks were completely missing.A plus point is the washing machine in the bathroom and the parking space in the yard.However, since the house was too dangerous for our children due to the unsecured trap door, we canceled the trip after 4 nights and, with the support of the tourism office, were able to get our money back for the remaining days we had booked.Conclusion: For solo travelers who only need somewhere to sleep, this is certainly a good and cheap place to stay. However, this accommodation is absolutely unsuitable for families with small children.

We were allowed to be guests of the Oertel family for 4 days at the end of February. We were 2 adults and a Newfoundland dog. The house was perfect for us. Regarding the negative review, I would like to say, calculate the daily price by 4 with final cleaning, bed linen, towels, electricity plus water. Our conclusion is that it is too cheap. The Oertel family recommended the highlights of the Ore Mountains to us, Annaberg is very beautiful. The people there are very humble and very warm. We felt comfortable for 4 days and saw a lot. A big thank you to the Oertel family.
