The estate is very well maintained and the horse husbandry is exemplary. Our apartment was huge. Greatest praise goes to the riding instructors Mareike and Julia. Sensitive and professional. Internet and mobile networks are very limited.

What an incredibly great week... *-*I am simply thrilled and will remain a guest at the farm. Ms. Schatz is incredibly nice and a trainer that is second to none.Due to an accident, I unfortunately had to travel by train (which stopped several stops before the farm). Mrs. Schatz picked me up and even went shopping with me.My holiday apartment was a dream, even with a small garden, to switch off, if you live in the big city like me, it's really a blessing.The seat analysis was absolutely enlightening. The extremely fine and sensitively ridden Spaniards on the farm bring you back down to earth very quickly when it comes to your own riding skills. If, like me, you unfortunately couldn't ride for a few months and your muscles have broken down, even more so. Of course, this can be a bit frustrating at times and as a self-confident rider you quickly demonize the horse you are riding as unteachable ;D.After a week of excellent lessons, I can only say that the problem is still there... ;D On the last day it clicked and I left with a wonderful feeling of having more knowledge and ability than I came.Photo: View from the hill above the estate

We spent a wonderful weekend at the Gut Drebsdorf stud farm. On the day of arrival, we were able to unpack in peace and explore the area before we went on a tour of the stud. This was very interesting, all the horses were allowed to be petted and Ms. Schatz was able to tell something about each one.On the second and third days there were riding lessons with seat analysis. It was very educational for me; before and after pictures were taken and what I had learned was consolidated. At the end I was given “homework” to practice at home. Everyone at the stud farm was very nice and was always there to help.Overall, a really nice weekend. I'll definitely come back!

A beautiful farm in beautiful surroundings with beautiful horses and incredibly great people - I can only recommend it!The lessons with Ms. Schatz were the best I have had in 35 years, hats off to her patience and her eye for even the smallest rider mistakes. I had each of your corrections explained very well. She helped me and my horse a lot. Thank you very much for that!We all felt very comfortable on the farm and will be happy to come back as soon as time allows.

Ms. Schatz and her horses teach everyone the fine art of riding. They react to every small twist, shift in weight, bend in the hips or uneven shoulders, etc. The focus of the lesson is on the correct aids and a correctly balanced seat. Sometimes you just ride the entire track for a whole hour and are tempted Maintain perfect balance. Not everyone thinks this is good, especially those who just want to ride higher lessons with the horse. So if you just want to ride some lessons and don't want to work on your seat, this is the wrong place for you. For anyone who wants to learn a better body feeling, better balance, finer aids, this is the place for you!

A far too short but super nice weekend came to an end. Yoga combined with horse riding. The yoga sessions were tailored specifically for the rider, which you can easily do at home, as were the riding sessions, which were tailored to each rider. A big thank you goes to the physiotherapist who looked after us very well and of course to Ms Schatz who was responsible for the riding sessions.

We stayed at Gut Drebsdorf for a week in March 2022 with 2 of our own horses. We really enjoyed it and are very satisfied. The facility is well maintained and friendly. The care and treatment of the horses is excellent (including all the hay :-)) and the people we got to know are all consistently positive and friendly. The holiday apartment was also very nice and nicely designed, we just felt comfortable and we didn't miss anything. And the most important thing: Ms. Schatz's lessons helped me a lot, were professional and detailed, well and understandably explained, I was able to implement it straight away and feel and enjoy the positive reaction of my horses! I took a lot of inspiration for further practice and we'll definitely come back with pleasure.

The course is not a course, but a “riding package,” we were told afterwards. Riding is definitely very short. The so-called stud farm tour on the first day is nice, but it corresponds to a brief introduction and greeting of the guests. Day 1 passes without anything noteworthy. Day 2 we spent about 10 + 10 minutes on the horse. The whole thing seems rehearsed and schematic. The interaction is very friendly, but there is no real training. On day 3 we rode for about 15 minutes, at a lower training level.The course is aimed at beginners and recreational riders. My 1 star refers to the fact that this was not clearly communicated beforehand and, in my opinion, was accepted. We all stated our experiences before arrival, emailed them, etc. and were not informed that this might not be the right thing. "Passage and piaffe, successful breeding, incredible ease, technique, analysis, permanent fix, specialized horses" etc. made us believe that we can learn something here for our continuous improvement. But the school horses are sweet and well-behaved, but also typical school horses, with little exercise and learned behavior patterns. The descriptions on the website are misleading. The estate is beautiful and very well maintained. But the offer should make it clear that a dressage rider who has many years of previous experience and is actively training is not in the right place here. So if you want to relax and further your training as a recreational rider and beginner, you will find what you are looking for here. But if you ride a lot and ride well, you are absolutely out of place here. By the way, we didn't say goodbye to the guests or ask about their satisfaction on site, as another reviewer already complained.

Simply sensational!😃 Great riding lessons and great horses! 5 stars +++! If you want to learn fine aids and a great seat, you've come to the right place. Ms. Schatz gives great, individual riding lessons and the horses are simply great! Both the mares and the stallions are always calm and very well trained. No riding lesson is without an aha effect. I can warmly recommend Gut Drebsdorf at any time. I'm always thrilled when I'm there! At this point I would also like to say a huge thank you to the great team on site! You are great! Please keep it up for many years!!!🙋🏻‍♀️

Absolutely disappointing, a complete failure! Where were the well-ridden school stallions? I've seen horses with their mouths tied up and couldn't even let them chew the reins out of their hands. An unsympathetic, arrogant woman, darling, who I only met briefly. There were lessons with someone else. With over 30 years of riding experience, I was only allowed to ride step on the circle. There was no breakfast either. Pity for my money. I definitely won't come back. My holiday recommendation is the riding stables in nearby Könnern/Sa.Anhalt.
