We spent a few days in the camping barrel and were very satisfied with the equipment and everything about it. Everything you need for a few days is there and the sanitary facilities are also very well maintained. We would love to come back again.

We were on holiday here in one of the two holiday apartments. The apartment was very nice, furnished with very good taste. You can feel the attention to detail. The very large roof terrace is just great when you get up in the morning, go outside and look out over the lake. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need.

I booked a camping barrel with my wife for two nights.Everything was beautifully furnished and in great condition. The barrels are in the middle of nature between the forest and the lake.It's super cozy in the barrels and there's more space inside than I expected from the pictures. At 1.93m, I can sit upright in bed without any problems.The extendable table is huge and offers enough space for 4 people.We used the time at the artificial pond for extensive hikes in the forest and visited the old mine in Wettelrode.The gastronomy in the Restaurant & Waldcafe is also highly recommended.A wonderful short vacation and definitely not our last vacation there.

The tall woman at the snack bar is probably having a bad day? Been here several times and it was very nice. The other staff were always friendly from A to Z.

Nice people, nice atmosphere and a great adventure holiday, also recommended for a weekend break! Right on the lake with its own jetty, hidden and yet close to the café & restaurant. Clean and cozy! The food in the café and restaurant is very tasty 😋, the staff is very personable and friendly! Minimum overnight stay 2 nights.
