We were accommodated for two nights for the course... for the third time in a row... two years apart.I've already REFUSED from my employer to come here again... it's getting worse from year to year!!!.. other participants also confirm my statement/impression.For me the hotel is GOOD .. more than nice and quiet.BUT even a facility from what feels like the beginning/middle of the 70's can be well maintained...but here you can relax in what was once a beautiful facility!!!In the last 6 years I have had 3 different rooms...EVERYONE was/is the same age...... in my last room there was laminate flooring, and not an old, rancid carpet ... but that could be wiped with a damp cloth. The bathroom... OLD.. like in the pictures... the toilet sits DISGUSTING yellow/brown from the edge... the toilet is cracked... toilet brush holder... sickeningly dirty/dirty OLD!!!Faucet sits loose on sink...The first impression is that the rooms are "cleaned"... the pictures show the rest. When eating... it feels like the picture is almost the same... it WAS good...NOW two out of 5 stars...The Greek/Turkish snack bar in Bad Laer can do better(at lunch)! The breakfast was a little better... although it is at least the same/possibly better in a youth hostel.(and I know youth hostels!)There was still a used cup of "cappuccino" (empty) in a "seminar room" on Sunday... but it was already in the seminar room on Friday when we arrived...(that's the photo with the mushroom at the bottom of the cup!!!)It's just EVERYTHING old, worn and unkempt!!!Oh yes... there was still laundry from my "previous tenant" in the closet

That was such an incredibly bad weekend. We had to take the hotel because of a course. All the reviews describe it exactly that way.Dirty, greasy, smelly.I have nothing against old school 70s but sorry, it's left there and unfortunately hasn't been cleaned since. On the day of departure, when all participants could finally leave this shabby hotel, two ladies started cleaning the elevator. Which no one, really no one, uses. The food was simply warmed up (basically no problem at all) but processing the rest and just filling up the salad fresh and not replacing it is really not possible, we only ate a little until we were able to eat out.I wouldn't even go there privately. And even so it will be a NEVER see you again.

Interior completely outdated, dark, lots of defects, little space in the rooms. Hotel in the 80's probably a top address.Care bed is outdated, but otherwise good

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the guesthouse and would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. Yes, the furniture is a bit old, but that gives the house a special charm that I really appreciated. It's not a 5-star hotel, you shouldn't expect it to be - but for the small dollar you get really solid accommodation here. The breakfast was perfectly fine, there was everything you needed, even if there weren't any culinary highlights. A small negative point was the cleanliness, I would have liked a little more care. However, you have to make compromises when it comes to the price. What I particularly liked was the trust shown in the guests. I thought the self-service fridge with drinks where you simply sign your name on a tally sheet was great - you don't see that often anymore and it creates a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. All in all, a nice guesthouse that I would happily stay in again!

TOP hotel with the charm of the "80s" - quietly located and yet close to the center! In about 5 minutes you can reach the “City of Bad Laer” by car! Conclusion: Highly recommended.

The room was or is full of mosquitoes so you can sleep nicely. You'll never see a catastrophe again
