We have been coming to Huber Sepp for years and always feel very comfortable here, as Sepp is a very warm, not aloof and very musical person, you just have to like him, his property is quiet and a bit away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, which we do too I like it very much, keep it up and stay as you are, see you soon.

I'll say this right up front: This review doesn't make the slightest claim to objectivity. Since Huber Sepp is one of the friendliest, quaintest and most humorous people I know, I could never report anything negative - even if there was something.The Huber guest house is located on the edge of Bischofswiesen (approx. 7 km before Berchtesgaden) with a wonderful view of the "Sleeping Witch" (1460m above sea level) and is probably the most rustic thing you can find in the area. Everything here is authentic, original and as if it had grown. Nothing is artificial, gimmicky or placed to attract tourists and lowland Tyroleans. The guest house and the entire property are as wonderfully imperfect, rustic and unique as Huber Sepp is. In addition, he is also an almost inexhaustible source of knowledge: Sepp knows every innkeeper, every hiking trail and his tips for excursions, hikes or food can hardly be worth their weight in gold. His stories about the country and its people are not only full-length, but fascinating for young and old. Furthermore - this has to be mentioned here - Huber Sepp is a really gifted musician (multi-instrumentalist) who manages to present hearty, old Bavarian Lederhosen folk music, which God knows might not be to everyone's taste, in such a way that everyone can has fun. So if you want a perfect holiday with excellent service, a local menu, service in dirndls or lederhosen and room service, please go to one of the thousand "typical Bavarian Edelweiss high-gloss hotels". For everyone else who wants to experience the real Berchtesgaden and, above all, a real Berchtesgadener, it is downright (im)perfect here.

In October our family spent a few very relaxing days and cozy evenings in the Huber Sepp guesthouse. We stayed in the larger guest house, which has several bedrooms and a rustic kitchen, like it used to be :-) with a wooden stove.We quickly got into conversation with our friendly and attentive hosts. Karin and Sepp had wonderful tips for discovering the surrounding area and an absolutely helpful description of the route, for example how to get to Austria quickly without the motorway.The guest house is detached with phenomenal views of the mountain landscape!Directly on the B20, but you can't hear it, coming from Bad Reichenhall you'll find the bakery F.X. Neumeiers Café (tasty and well attended) and only one and a half kilometers from the Hubers, the Panorama Park, well suited for hikers who also need new shoes, or everything is there in the shops, from emergencies to normal cases.
