I visited this extraordinary inn on the occasion of the Bitburg slaughter festival and I won't miss any of these events in the future. What's on the plate is absolutely outstanding! The salad, the great draft beer, the nice service, the friendly landlady and the tastefully restored restaurant form a great unity!I can only highly recommend this house.

We were at the inn for dinner. As Berliners, we were particularly impressed by the friendly and attentive service. Food was also very good. Price/performance very good.

The inn is simply amazing! The ambience is very pleasant and inviting and offers guests a nice atmosphere. The food was very tasty, especially the Jägerschnitzel and Butterschnitzel. The service was extremely competent, humorous and friendly. 27/27 points. I would go there again every time 👍

Great restaurant and not a simple pub.Ate very well. You should definitely try a great tarte flambée as a starter.It's been a long time since I've seen so many staff in a restaurant.Everyone very nice.Thanks.

No complaints overall—extremely friendly staff and a warm, cozy atmosphere. The food was of great quality. I just have two small critiques: many visitors bring dogs, so it would be nice to be asked if a dog is seated next to us. Also, while the salad was amazingly delicious, it was a bit gritty. Aside from that, I’d definitely visit again! Best wishes.

Had dinner here this week. Staff was nice, and the inn was new and tastefully decorated.Unfortunately, service was only mediocre to poor. Many service staff, some of whom were inexperienced, were looked after by a waitress who did her job well but seemed to be overwhelmed at times. Our drinks were taken after 20 minutes and food could only be ordered after 40 minutes. The food then took another 40 minutes to arrive.Flambée was cold, schnitzel was standard and at that price I would have expected a side salad without having to order it separately. There are enough restaurants and even sports restaurants where you can get something better in terms of quality and more in terms of quantity for the same money. In and of itself I would have expected more. The team is certainly still adjusting and I think they are aware that there is definitely still room for improvement. Good luck with the restaurant.

We were looking for a special restaurant near the maar. When asked about this, the landlady of the inn at the Maaren in front of her door was particularly friendly, helpful, and was able to explain the route to us. The path to competition. We will soon reward this with a visit to her at the “Wirtshaus zu den Maaren”!!
