We weren't guests here. We were eager to find out what was in the castle. Our guess is a museum.The castle is a hotel with vineyards. We could see many vines behind the hotel.Very beautiful landscape. There are enough parking spaces available. You can go for a walk there very well. Everything made a good impression on us. We received information about our questions.

A seemingly snooty receptionist pointed out the farm shop's opening hours when we told him we would like to buy 2 bottles of Rattey wine. After a short hesitation we were able to buy the wine.You can be nice even in such a posh location. Not again!

A spontaneous Sunday trip that was really worth it. Completely new outdoor facilities, the very attractive farm shop with wine tasting and of course the renovated hotel. Someone knew what they were doing. Our wine tasting was not without consequences, luckily the trunk is very small when the roof is open. A great day that I can highly recommend.

Very cozy, spacious rooms. Very clean, comfortable beds. However, in summer I would advise against the feather bed. The breakfast buffet was rich and sufficient, some fruit would have been desirable. The complex is well maintained and spacious, if you love peace and quiet, this is the place for you.

This is a place of peace and retreat. If you want to escape from everyday life, this is the place for you. The lovingly restored castle hotel and the exquisite winery harmonize fantastically. An enchanting castle park also invites you to dream and linger. The room furnishings are first-class and the beds invite you to sleep in. The staff is very friendly and loving. Our four-legged friend also feels very comfortable here; you can take long walks through the meadows and forests.

Stayed at Rattey Castle for 2 nights on the return journey from the Hansesail. We had a very tastefully furnished room with a fantastic view of the park. We really liked everything, especially the friendliness of the staff and the atmosphere in the hotel. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful, lovingly restored castle building, good cuisine, great castle park. I was allowed to stay overnight in a room in the newly built guest house - so I had both: the charm and ambience of a time-honored castle AND a state-of-the-art hotel room that left nothing to be desired. Absolute recommendation!

Large and clean room. As expected from a castle hotel. I can't complain. The hospitality of the staff and the food are excellent. What's more, this place has an irresistible feeling of being the northernmost place for German wine. Definitely recommended if you love wine, castles, and Germany. This place is really amazing. You'll know when you go. Too wonderful.

We have sat here together at several family celebrations and always find the castle and the food to be very good. The beautiful castle complex with the vines is absolutely worth a walk after a delicious meal. In addition to the fantastic schnitzel, we recommend the refreshing Rattey Spritz. The chanterelle soup as a starter is also excellent. The prices are high, which is why it is irritating that an additional €3 is charged when changing the supplement. Nevertheless, the restaurant is highly recommended.

Very, very nice hotel and incredibly great cuisine. Not only does one find a very good atmosphere here, but everything is clean and well-kept. The only thing I have to complain about compared to other comparable hotels is nothing. Just a little tip to the boss, stick with the utmost respect and also smile
