So I ate in the restaurant this evening and it was so delicious that I could eat here every day. I eat out a lot, even in very good and not cheap restaurants, but this food is just very good, traditional German, I ate wild and it was super tasty and for 28.90 it was totally ok and the ox packets were also very tasty. I haven't eaten such delicious food in a long time

Were there with the motorhome for two days and can only report positive things.The food was great, the service was very friendly and accommodating.The parking space behind the farm was quiet and you had a beautiful view of the mountains and vines.

On the occasion of the Kerwe we went to the Spelzenhof for dinner again after years. It was very crowded and we were immediately told that we had to be patient (even though it was already after 1:00 p.m.). We had plenty of time, so we got the menu ourselves after 10 minutes and then, to be honest, we studied the prices with our mouths open. Schnitzel with fries for €26 in a wine bar is pretty expensive, and a grape juice spritzer for €5 doesn't necessarily have to be a thing in 2024 (the menu even said €6, but the charge was €5). As promised, we then had to wait over an hour for the food, but that wasn't really a problem that day because there was a nice setting in the romantic courtyard and the sun kept coming out and we could relax. As an appetizer there was some white bread with spread and when the food came we knew how to better classify the prices: the portions are incredibly large, the amount of schnitzel was simply gigantic and 9 out of 10 people won't be able to do it, which is why almost everyone gets it Leftovers can be packed up. In terms of taste, everything was perfect, but you can still ask yourself if you couldn't offer a normal portion for less than €20. Even a starter (my wife had stuffed mushrooms) is enough to fill you up.

Unfortunately I can almost only give 1/2 a point for the delicious schnitzel. Cut off plastic packaging residue on the schnitzel in the mushroom topping, so we had already eaten some of it. Some of the people sitting next to me thought that the 2 hour wait for the reserved food was sporty! Unfortunately !The service was also probably overwhelmed, as no one came to the table during this time and only when we looked and asked about it 1 hour later were we told it would take another 20 minutes. Which then took twice as long.At the neighboring table everyone was given an extra drink, but we didn't have that.Unfortunately, it has gone from expensive to very expensive!Therefore only recommended for people who have had their fill beforehand.

On the way through with our caravan for an overnight stay. Immediately extended for a day because it was very nice. Parking space and view very nice. Right next to the vines in a small meadow. Very quiet in a small village. Electricity available. The owners are very friendly. Despite arriving late due to traffic jams, the kitchen prepared something delicious for us even though it was already closed. Food is simply great! Fresh and very tasty! The wine is really good too. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful location to spend the night with a caravan.Close to the vineyardsAnd this at a dirt-cheap price of €17 p/nNo sanitary block, but electricity and water (not drinkable)Here you can also go out for a delicious meal and enjoy a nice glass of wine.

Rustic restaurant or wine bar. Furniture in the courtyard was very shaky and outdated. But the service is friendly and the food tastes good. The salads in particular are very colorful and varied. Meat dishes have more of an 80s charm. Parking for bikes in front of the door is difficult but possible.
