We needed a place to sleep not too far from the highway while travelling, and we booked without knowing anything about the location. We were a little worried as we speak English and very little German. We were delighted when we arrived to find such a beautiful little hotel in a gorgeous village and relieved that the hosts were accommodating of our lack of German and very helpful.We ate and drank at the beer garden for dinner, which is next to a small stream. The food was delicious and the beer was cold.The hotel is very modern on the inside with a good shower and the rooms were immaculately clean. We parked for free outside in what seems to be a safe, quiet neighbourhood.The breakfast had many options and was all very fresh and tasty.One of the best hotels we've stayed in in Western Europe.We were also very interested to learn a little history of the town during our check in and we took the short walk through the forest up to the top of the hill above to see the ruins of a 13th century chateau.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. My room was clean and comfortable. Dinner was enjoyable and breakfast delicious. All staff were kind and friendly. Loved it.

Went there for dinner. Good food, however a bit loud in the eating rooms. Service was great and the food came pretty quick!Portion size a bit too small, and the waffle dry. But the main course was really good.Pricey overall.

We had a lovely one night stay in this place, located at possibly the most charming location; under the Burg, next to a small river. It was a refreshingly quiet place yet surprisingly close to Koblenz.The moment we arrived, we were greeted with a very warm and personal welcome which made us immediately feel at ease. All staff was very accommodating and kind. We also had dinner and breakfast at the Landgasthof: dinner was very German, but good. The breakfast was very good; fresh juices, tea, coffee, various breads, eggs, spreads, ...Our room was brand new, spacious and with plenty of space for wardrobe if needed. The bathroom was impeccably clean and had a very good shower, the bed and pillows were very comfortable as well. I especially appreciated the room not having carpet (allergies) and had a wonderful stay.
