It was our first time in a treehouse and we really liked it. The house is located on the edge of the Palatinate Forest and you can easily reach many beautiful hiking trails in the area through the mountains, but also through the wine fields. The house itself is equipped with all the important things and is very lovingly furnished. The surrounding terrace is practical, there is enough space to sit outside and for the hammock. The three of us stayed in the treehouse for a week and all nights we slept upstairs on the gallery. From there you can watch the sunrise early with a wonderful view over the town of St. Martin. The bakery or a café can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot.We will definitely come back again in the summer, although the fall vacation was also romantic. The Holländer family as landlords is very friendly.

A few days in the treehouse for two - it was wonderful! The location alone is great: through the huge window you can look out over the beautiful town and the Rhine plain all the way to the Odenwald. The tree house is already in the forest. The house is still brand new and very beautiful - just great to feel comfortable and relax. It offers a lot of comfort and a friendly atmosphere. The owners built the tree house themselves and lovingly implemented great creative ideas. For example, you can pull the bed onto the balcony and sleep outside.Dear Dutch family, thank you again for everything!

We had a very nice stay, the tree house is really impressive. Very lovingly furnished and a great view (especially when it is dark) over the plain with the many lights. We liked it very much.We have two tips for future vacationers there:- There are 3 windows on the gallery (two slanted and one on the side) - the side window can only be opened a crack (approx. 5 cm) - the slanted roof windows cannot be opened at all. They are completed. We were there at the beginning of June 2021 and it was 25 degrees during the day - it was very uncomfortable in the gallery at night - the children in particular really wanted to sleep there, but it was so hot.We understand that the biggest risk is if the tenants leave the window open and it rains in - but that's just how hard it is to bear up there in the summer months. And on top of that, if you ventilate through the big doors at the bottom, a lot of insects come in, of course, in the forest. And the cool air tends not to rise.- The rubbish bins (both in the house and for disposal outside) are very tiny, of course it's about avoiding waste, but for a family of four it's very unpleasant if you couldn't always go out to eat during Corona.

We would like to thank the Holländer family very much for this unique and successful stay in their tree house! From the first contact to the very good homepage, the easy online booking, the punctual and personal check-in and also the uncomplicated check-out, everything worked perfectly. With you, the guest is still king and we felt very comfortable from the first moment. The tree house was completed at the end of 2019 and is tastefully furnished with great attention to detail. It has style and offers every comfort you could wish for in a holiday home. The huge glass front and the height in the open living area impressed us very much. Even in the upper sleeping area, which is accessible via a ladder, there is endless space and air. There is a covered terrace around the entire tree house where we enjoyed having breakfast or ending the evening with a good glass of wine from St. Martin. We particularly liked the bathroom. The floor-level shower, a mirror with integrated heating and the washbasin are exceptional and rarely found in a holiday home.We didn't need the underfloor heating in May, but it's good to know that there is one for the colder season. The bedroom at the back of the tree house is relatively small, but there is an integrated closet and there is even a safe in it. What's unbeatable is that we were able to fully open the glass doors to the terrace and, because the bed is on wheels, we were able to push it outside. This is so romantic =).The kitchen is fully equipped, with a refrigerator, stove, oven, kettle, coffee machine, dishes and cutlery. We found it very practical that the beds were already made and there were enough towels in the bathroom. Finally, we would like to mention that we received a free PfalzCard from the hosts. For example, we got free entry to Hambach Castle and were even able to go to the climbing forest in Kandel for free for 3 hours on the way home. This tree house and the Dutch family definitely deserve this 5* rating. Keep it up!!

Very nicely located, you can slow down perfectly here. Very friendly welcome from the landlord. The house is well furnished, even with emergency rations in case something is missing. 2 reserved parking spaces are available. Cozy corner with games, books and pillows. Beds are comfortable and warm. Note for families with small children who can barely walk: The ladder to the upper sleeping area needs to be secured as it is very steep.Otherwise everything is great here.

The treehouse in St. Martin is beautiful! Everything is extremely well maintained and lovingly designed. Everything you need is there. The location right on the edge of the forest is wonderfully beautiful and quiet. Everything in town is within walking distance, e.g. bakers and many cozy restaurants. Communication with Fam Holländer was also perfect and uncomplicated right from the start. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Given the fact that the tree house is fully booked for almost the entire next year and we liked it so much that we would come back at any time, we thought long and hard about where we could deduct points. ;-)But we couldn't think of anything. Starting with the warm welcome from the Dutch couple, to the location with the incredibly captivating view, to the furnishings where a lot of attention was paid to details, simply wonderfully beautiful! Many thanks to Simone and Mattias!

The Holländers (the owners) gave us a warm welcome and then led us up to the absolutely beautiful tree house. It is surrounded by large trees and the view through the large glass front is fantastic. The tree house is a fully furnished house, and the loft (upper floor), which is equipped with 2 double beds, offers space for several guests. We felt really comfortable right away and it certainly wasn't the last time we were there. We will also pass on recommendations to our friends and acquaintances. Many thanks again to the Dutch family, who also gave us good tips about restaurants and excursion destinations.Kind regards from MainzMargit and Bernd Wagner
