What a wonderful lovely experience!! Hey Berliners.. Hey everyone, if you ever wanna spend a relaxing holiday, this accommodation is highly recommended. With no doubt, better than staying a star hotel. You get a homey feeling the moment you enter this house. Erik & Rita warmly welcomed us and we spent two nights there. The day we left in the morning she was waving and saying goodbye to us till we disappear just like we visited our parents. Calm atmosphere. Clean. You can drive to Czech Republic in 20 minutes and eat there which is cheap. The areas where you can go for walks and hiking and be with the nature is countless. I’m pretty sure if you stay there , it will added to your best memories list!!

I spent one night on my ridge hike at the Rübenau inn and it was the best overnight stay on the tour. The house and the furnishings have charm and everything you need is there. The owners weren't there when I stayed overnight, but their friend, who managed the inn, looked after me in such a warm, familiar and loving way that I couldn't help but feel comfortable. For dinner she put together and cooked a vegetarian meal for me, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and I was provided with a packed lunch because there is no supply option on the next stage. I have rarely felt so comfortable in a guesthouse 😁

Rübenau is the most beautiful place in Germany! The village is beautifully embedded in the landscape. The people in the village are open-minded, helpful and friendly.The hosts are sensational. All the guests and the hosts sat together in the kitchen and talked and ate. The atmosphere was cozy and familiar. Every wish can be expressed and, if possible, will be fulfilled.

Very, very friendly hosts who even cook dinner for hikers in the evening. Rooms simple, but everything you need and comfortable beds. We were thrilled by the warmth and would love to come back.

Shortly before the Erzgebirge ridge, about 750m above sea level, a place with warm people. Highly recommended, especially during Advent. The innkeepers at the inn are great. The room furnishings are intended to be in the style of the rustic GDR period. Anyone who loves this little journey through time like we do is warmly welcomed by very nice people. Unfortunately there is only bed and breakfast.

We were very excited about the experience at Gasthaus Rübenau.Erik was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were not only impressed by the cleanliness of the room, but also by the quality of the breakfast, which was fresh and prepared with love. The homemade jam from our own garden is highly recommended.We'd love to come back!

We spent one night here on our Kammweg tour and were extremely satisfied. After some disappointments on previous nights, we were spoiled here. A beautifully furnished room and a cozy dining room awaited us. This was crowned by a very friendly host couple! Fresh food was cooked for us, we were given tips for our further hike and we were also able to take a closer look at the sheep on the property. ☺️Individual requests were always taken into account. Top service!Highly Recommended!P.S. The price-performance ratio was very good.

We stayed here with a group of 7. Your wishes were always taken into account. We had dinner in the evening and a super early breakfast and were able to drive to our Stoneman from there. Eric was super super friendly and looked after us very well…a great inn for cyclists.
