Friendly staff, even though there was nothing on the menu i could get something vegan (freshly picked blueberries with sugar). The poor guy had a new machine and didnt know how to handle it right, so we got a dish more, but that wasnt a Problem.

Unfortunately the food has deteriorated somewhat. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is no longer right. Even though there was nothing going on, we had to change places, where we sat would be the regulars' table. Unfortunately it's not there. We always enjoyed being there, but it became really difficult.

Very nice “hut” on the mountain.2 stars less because of the service and organization today.Order placed, 2 pieces of cake and cocoa. After waiting 25 minutes, our order was taken again, but unfortunately there was no more cake. Very unfortunate.Food from the kitchen is only available until 2:30 p.m.

Terrible reception. They don't make an effort to speak a word in English and they treated us terribly because they had just closed (2.30pm are you already closing in a mountain refuge?). We could have at least gotten a drink, but obviously they don't need money.

We were here on a Westweg hike. The food was good or okay, although we were lucky to be there in the short time of only an hour for dinner.Otherwise only the Vesper card would have been available. The service was good. The innkeeper was a bit “quiet”.Unfortunately we couldn't stay overnight here because all the rooms were occupied. The inn is ideally located on the Westweg route.

Five men on the way to Freiburg, one of whom lost his battery. Even though we had ordered food and drinks, we were not allowed to plug the battery into the socket for half an hour. The excuse of 2022; "I don't have a free socket in the entire house." Strange but true! We were definitely with this innkeeper for the last time. If only we had gone straight to St. Wilhelm to the Gasthaus zur Linde (Napf). We received friendly service there, the food tasted excellent and we were also able to charge the battery. It couldn't be better.

Anyone who likes it rustic and simple will feel at home here. Beautiful rooms with charm. The equipment is a little older. The breakfast is very rich. The kitchen is recommended. One star deducted for the somewhat high price. But if you're looking for an amazing view with peace and quiet and great hiking trails, you'll be happy to pay the price.

Were passing through here as part of the Westweg hike. The food was okay and the price was also reasonable. The innkeeper wasn't exactly open-hearted or particularly friendly. Rather curt.To our surprise, the bill only listed the food and not the drinks. Very strange!
