The bungalow was nice and clean, big enough for for adults, equiped with toster, coffe maker, washing machne and barbecue on the tarrace. However the rest of the camping coul be better: there is hardly no playground, fireplace doesn't look nice and personel don't speak English although we were told they do.

The site is generally quite and secluded with a clean environment. You can enjoy fishing at the pond or feeding the ducks.

We have booked a night with them. On the day no one bothered to pick up the phone nor open the gates... Fortunately the booking was made through a broker who relocated us elsewhere. Avoid!

Great campsite with room for improvement. We stayed at the campsite at Hünstein for 3 nights. The place itself is really very beautiful. It is in a quiet location and invites you to relax. The place is well maintained and the parking spaces are large. The showers were old but clean. There was a toilet trailer on the campsite as a toilet. A small kitchen with kitchen appliances was also neat and clean. The groundskeeper was absolutely friendly and happy to have a chat.Disposal of the chemical toilet is also possible on site.Unfortunately there was only one tap more than 30m away from our place, so you could only fill the water tank with a watering can. There is no bread roll service or a kiosk on the site, but that's not a bad thing because it's about a 5-10 minute walk to a gas station or in the town where there are also shops. At the campsite there is a refrigerator with a “trusted cash register” (at the time we looked at the site it was “only” stocked with mustard)The site has a playground, table tennis table and the Hünstein outdoor swimming pool is also right at the campsite. The place is definitely family and dog friendly! We'd love to come back!

Such a nice place to unwind and even though it was below 10°C in mid-April, it quickly warmed up in our camping barrel. For chilblains like me, I still recommend a cozy blanket. The view in the morning is magical and after waking up to one of the prettiest roosters I've ever seen, I grabbed a breakfast tray and we were able to start the day comfortably. The kitchen is modest but very clean and you can find everything you need. The toilets are also just around the corner and housed in a brand new toilet trailer, like those found at higher-priced city festivals. The employee and even the boss were very friendly and uncomplicated. I recommend the monkey forest and the thermal baths as excursions and would be happy to come back. A great camping experience, even for beginners!
