Cozy holiday apartment. Small bedroom with double bed and living room with kitchenette. Balcony in front of the living room with a direct view of the lagoon.Everything is very idyllic.

This is the second assessment of my life, but after the exaggerated criticisms and entitlement, I would like to give my impression.It can happen that spiders are in the apartments in the middle of nature. This is no secret for real nature lovers.The apartment was ok, the landlord was friendly and gave me tips. The view of the lagoon was priceless and the peace and quiet, I recovered very well.I'll be back in another month instead of March to experience the indescribable light and nature in a different way.Greetings from the Cologne areaMarita Jung

1 week in October / 50€ / day. Our small apartment 6 was clean and warm. The facility is older. The beds are sufficient.The location and view are unique for this price. Must be a dream in summer.

I was at the Martens guesthouse with my friends this weekend and am very shocked by the statements made by my predecessors.Our apartment was clean and especially the bathroom (which is most important to me) was sparkling clean.The service and the breakfast buffet there were just great. Furthermore, the landlord gave us very good tips for excursions. We would be happy to come back to this guesthouse next year. The location with a view of the water is very nice, especially in the evenings. Internet access worked without any problems and was free of charge.The only tip I can give the other reviewers is that it depends on the way you communicate with a person.

Highly recommended...peace and relaxation...pure keep it up

We spent a wonderful holiday at Pension Martens. A heavenly calm ensured a total switch-off from everyday life.As a bonus, the landlord gave us lots of interesting tips and excursion destinations, which we also visited.In the middle of nature, as city dwellers, we heard many birds, including a cuckoo, every morning. Simply great to relax and unwind. Corona messed up our travel plans and got us there. We didn't regret it. A big thank you to the great team and we will definitely come back.

We felt very comfortable here. If you don't like it too touristy, this is the right place for you. Quiet location with a view of the lake. The landlord was polite and helpful to us. We would come back at any time.

We arrived and immediately noticed the fake friendliness of the unkempt "host". The apartment was very dirty. In the bathroom, the shower wall was completely demolished, the toaster and a parasol were missing. When we tried to pull out the completely dirty sofa bed, it collapsed. The landlord simply vacuumed the couch and brought us a fishing lounger to fold up as an “extra bed” that we had to pay for. When we then complained, the landlord's true character suddenly came out and he insulted us and told us to please leave the next day if we didn't like it.We drove back home that same evening. When we handed over the keys, the now extremely unfriendly landlord demanded 92 euros, even though we didn't even spend a night there. There was NO receipt!!!Before we left, he called after us: “I’m happy.”The host also rates himself here on Google to improve the rating! Apparently he just deleted his own review in response to this review. Cowardly!There can hardly be a worse host.

We arrived at Martens' house on Sunday, August 19, 2018. Personally, I would have liked to leave as soon as I saw the entrance to the house. The entrance was dirty and probably hadn't been cleaned in ages. Spider droppings and dirt and cobwebs everywhere. The front garden was full of weeds and the flowers lacked water. Once we got to the top, in our apartment, we were hit by the next shock. I always go to the bathroom first. There was still minimal toothpaste from the previous person on the tooth cups. The shower was clogged with lime and any soap residue. Then came the bedroom with bed linen that we never found even in the poorest countries. We accepted that there were missing buttons, but the fact that there were HOLES in the worn bed linen was really the highlight. Thank God I took a photo of it, straight away when we arrived as she looked even worse at the end of our trip. This is followed by the living room with its cobwebs on the walls. The carpet was totally dirty. With lots of stains, also in the hallway. A CARPET had been placed over it, which was also stained and also had a large fold. It was very dangerous to walk there. We were constantly trying to straighten this dirty thing over and over again. There is a lot more to report, not to mention the kitchen. There was talk of a lawn in our brochure!!! This consists only of weeds, definitely not a lawn for sunbathing! We talked to a number of guesthouse guests about this house. Every guest frowned, and we don't understand why everyone accepts it that way. We still reserve the right to give an even better description down to the details and to complain at the appropriate point . The town of Wieck is certainly not making a state with this house. We refused to pay for the cleaning. We left the apartment cleaner than we found it. When we arrived, we found the Martens house to be pretty. From a distance. But upon closer inspection, it's a house that everyone should avoid! It wasn't worth that much money at all.

We were looking for a holiday apartment at short notice and found it here. Apartment is just right for two people. View wonderful. Landlord is also very friendly. Gladly again
