The tiny town is located on a mountaintop and is therefore bright and sunny.The restaurant is not currently open, but overnight stays are possible.The rooms are very clean and simple.Our host Horst served us very honestly and courteously.It is absolutely unique and a reason for us to stop by there again.

I was only looking for an overnight stay because I was on the Palatinate Forest Trail. Unfortunately, the catering operations are currently closed, which is a shame, but overnight stays are possible. I have rarely experienced such a warm welcome. The room was cozy and clean. Everything as it should.Breakfast the next morning was simply wonderful! Thank you very much for that. Thank you also for the music from the trumpet.

The restaurant has newly opened. We were there with our hiking group of 12 people. The service was very friendly and everyone enjoyed the food. All at very moderate prices. Super tasty steaks with a side dish for €18.50 is really not expensive. Even simple dishes like sausage salad with fries are lovingly decorated and very tasty.

09/2020: Only 3 stars because there is still some room for improvement at the top. Unfortunately no Palatinate plate etc. But otherwise a lot of choice. Are hardworking and friendly. But in between we waited for empty plates to be cleared away and we were asked for another drink.We'd love to come back again.Make something of it.

I would prefer not to give a star. 🤬Four of us were there today, sat on the terrace but unfortunately we left hungry and thirsty. The tables were not cleared, let alone served, even though we had spoken to the waitress, she simply moved on and ignored us and the guests who had arrived at the same time as us. So we had to sit at a dirty table full of glasses. After about 20 minutes of waiting in the sun, we decided to look for another restaurant. This was the first and last time we were there. No recommendation from us.

Nice service. We had currywurst with fries. The fries were good, the sausage was overcooked and dry. At over 9 euros, the dish was more than overpaid.

Very pleasant restaurant. Reasonably priced for the main courses. Spaetzle etc. way too expensive. Otherwise everything is great so far. Waiting time for food was great as were the sauces. The staff's arithmetic skills do no harm.

Hello dear guests who rate us. We at the "Landgasthof Luitpoldsturm" are a family business. If it takes longer, it wasn't the "just one waitress" but the boss. If we had 2 or 3 other servers in good weather, we would have to open up a bit. (minimum wage, etc.) Nobody wants to here either. If we happen to have nice weather on a public holiday or weekend, some guests have little time, even though there are no buses or trains here. The food is fresh and is freshly prepared, so it can last a little longer or even run out, sorry if the offer isn't that big at 4 p.m. But we look forward to your visit. Cozy, enjoy the beautiful area and eat something delicious, fresh. As always, we will do our best to satisfy you. Kind regards, your Luitpold team
