Beautiful location set in a valley, plenty of walks to do around. Super toilets and showers , always kept clean. Nice lakeside restaurant and shop with very friendly staff. Bread and croissants can be ordered for the next morning which I found helpful. The camping pitches were also good. One downside which doesn't affect there 5 stars is, you can only start a BBQ after 6pm. But apart from that I recommend this camping site to everybody who loves nature and quietness

Reception service was very friendly and helpful. We booked a comfort Site 100 cm.Enough room for my VW Bus with awning, extra car, and Trailer. Dogs No Problem as long as they are on a lead. Lots of Walking Tours with a Lake to bathe and relax in no dogs are allowed Here but there ist a nice Clearwater River running through the whole of the Campsite where the doggies can go for a Paddle. We stayed for two nichts and on the second night decided to eat at the Kiosk on the Campsite. Very Clean and modern. The Personal we're really all very friendly, and very effizient. The meal, we ordered Cordon Bleu with Bratkartoffeln, and sausage Chips in a Curry Sauce. Which was OK. The Bratkartoffeln unfortunately looked Like a potato Salat, they we're Not cooked enough. We fehlt sorry for the waitress WHO was so friendly and did her very best, so we didnt complain. All in all we had a very pleasant Weekend and the Campsite was quiet during the night. Would come again.

Five stars from us. We stayed on a pitch for tents, though. Not with our camper van! Anyway this campsite is nicely isolated in the Pfaelzer Wald, far from anything. Very quiet and a nice lake. Facilities are very clean and one of them also got just renovated. Never saw a parents/child shower before. Very much recommended

Clean modern restrooms. Friendly staff. Overall the place is well maintained and clean. Free entry to the cold(!) outdoor lake with a little beach. Rent a boat to get to the little island, the kids will love it. Two little streams meander across the place with trouts and crayfish in it. Drinking water right next to your tent and a lot of fun for the kids! A road is close by which is nice because it gives access to a number of hikes nearby but also prevents the place from getting more points as the road noise will start at 5am and not stop before 11pm. There is a little restaurant and they try but have a hard time delivering quality food. The next supermarket is 5 miles down the road, so you might prefer to not use the restaurant too often. No roofed seating for cyclists or hikers.

Really nice place, the lake is beautiful with a restaurant and kiosk nearby. There are wonderful trails to hike but please take some anti-tick spray.

It's a beautiful site in lovely surroundings, but, this was the 3rd time we have been there and at no time have been able to get phone signal. Sadly we have decided not to go there again.
