If you choose a property but it is rented to someone else, you could communicate it clearly and not arrive with "fine print".I had chosen accommodation without stairs for my relatives because their hips don't like climbing stairs. What is the consequence? Going to the doctor.It wasn't planned THAT way.The cleanliness also left something to be desired, not only IN THE room, but also in the garden.And where was the specified washing machine?Recommended? Rather not.There are certainly more reputable providers out there.

Everything was great, great apartment, facilities but getting into the realm of dream bedrooms is not for older people, steep stairs here should be pointed out. Unfortunately, bicycle storage is only possible outdoors because the building does not have a basement.

Mold and fecesThis year we stayed in a holiday home from the Leuchtfeuer company. We had a very long journey and were even happier when we were finally there. Once we arrived at the house, all the joy of our holiday was quickly taken away from us. There was mold in the corners of the bedroom and children's room on the first floor, and the joints in the bathroom at the window and on the front door were full of mold. We had a 1000 km journey, it was late in the evening and we have a small child - so we accepted it that way. After all, we only booked the house for a week and these defects could not be removed by a cleaning crew. In addition, there was only a floor lamp in the bedroom to provide light. This cable was no longer insulated, so all the electrical cables inside were clearly visible 20 cm above the floor - we never used the lamp and preferred to live in the bedroom without light. It's impossible to imagine what could happen to the child. Well, we lived with it without complaining, after all it was supposed to be a vacation and a week including complaining would ruin everything for us. On the sixth day the big thing happened – I was upstairs on the toilet and then flushed the toilet. Then I couldn't believe my eyes - the feces from the toilet flushed up into the shower. We really couldn't have... the smell and the sight was just terrible. Now we actually dared to use the emergency number from Beacon because it was a holiday. We were asked quite impudently what we were allowed to call the emergency number with such a case on a public holiday. The owners of the vacation rental then hung up and switched off their cell phones for a short time. We tried again later and were awkwardly catapulted off the line again - it wasn't an emergency and today is a public holiday. It was clear to us that we couldn't stay here. We packed our things, threw the key in the company mailbox and drove home. We traveled a day earlier. We will NEVER book with this company again. Of course, it's not nice to be faced with such problems on vacation. But the way the owners of the Leuchtfeuer company treated us was a much greater evil for us!

Full of anticipation, we drove to our Cranich holiday apartment after handing over the keys. Finally after 12 hours of driving we reached our destination. Unload the car, unpack, finish work. But nothing came of it so quickly. In the kitchen, the entire work surface was very dirty, as were the free drawers for guests. When I wanted to load the dishwasher the next trouble came. This was very dirty and unusable. The lid on the kettle was torn off. The surface of the dining table was also dirty. And in the bedroom there was a thick layer of dust on the windowsill. When I went to bed after a cleaning job - unfortunately the administration had already finished work - the next problem arose. The bedding and sheets were dusty. I had an asthma attack.Because of the good air you go to St. Peter-Ording and then something like that.We contacted the administration the next day and didn't hear back until Monday during office hours. My cleaning action was commented on with a “sorry”. Unfortunately nothing more came. The kettle was at least replaced. And because of the dishwasher, there was only information that each guest was responsible for it. It's in the guest info with the sentence:"Dishwasher emptied and clean? The next guest will thank you." Apparently clearly explained. Unfortunately not for me. Then you ask yourself what you are forYou have to pay 80 euros for the final cleaning. This cannot be recommended any further.

We booked holiday accommodation for a week through Leuchtfeuer and were completely satisfied. The journey was well organized and questions were answered in a friendly manner in advance by phone. We felt very comfortable there and would love to come back!Tip: there is the Welt-Café around the corner with a beautiful playground diagonally opposite!

We booked the apartment through booking.com. That all went well. The booking confirmation came quickly and all correspondence was very friendly.When we got to the accommodation, we noticed that the “Seeperle1” apartment had already seen its best years. It was pretty worn out. The veneers in the kitchenette were coming off, the cupboard lock in the bedroom was broken, the mirror cabinet in the bathroom was broken, some of the blinds could no longer be adjusted... We could still accept that, but the apartment was also very dirty. Tiles had been removed in the bathroom (construction site), every corner was full of cobwebs, dust and dead insects on all shelves and window sills, dog hair everywhere... We complained immediately and two ladies came straight away to clean it up. They didn't speak German and didn't know exactly what to do. When we returned from shopping, the post-cleaning was finished. Then we covered the sofa with blankets we had bought (everything was still full of dog hair). After we had cleaned again ourselves and removed half a load of sand, dust and cobwebs from the living room and bedroom, we contacted “Beacon Holiday Accommodations” again and complained again. We documented the whole thing with photos and forwarded the pictures during our stay.To date, we have not received any response from the company “Leuchtfeuer Ferienwohnungen”, no discount, refund or apology. The full price was withheld and our verbal and written complaints were ignored.Our conclusion:Never again!We feel ripped off and are considering handing the matter over to a lawyer. Not to grab a few euros, but because we were very annoyed by the reaction and behavior of the employee at “Leuchtfeuer Ferienwohnungen” when faced with these justified and documented defects.“I was in the apartment yesterday and everything was fine.”“We have to approach the cleaning companies with kid gloves”; soon you won’t get people who want to do something like that – soon it will be like in Denmark, where the guests clean themselves.“That can’t be the case, the apartment has always been rented out the whole season and no one has ever complained.”We had booked and paid for a clean apartment, the rest shouldn't be our problem.

Location, facilities, everything was great...but unfortunately you have to vacuum and mop completely yourself. The cleanliness gets worse every year

We booked with Leuchtfeuer for the second time and were very satisfied. Booking, payment, key handover, etc. was completely problem-free. Our anxious questions about Corona were also answered patiently and friendly. Thank you!

Apartment is okay. Not recommended during the holiday season as a family with 4 children plus a grandmother lives above the apartment. The noise level is unbearable and goes well past midnight. Complaints were of no use, no help was received from the Lörke housing agency, nor from the caretaker or the administration. Even from the police you only got stupid answers like: why are you moving into a high-rise building? Never again !!!!!
