Rooms are clean and beautiful. But small. The worst part was when we arrived from a long trip that the person who would arrange the room was not there. None of the staff could reach her. After a few hours of waiting she finally came. Luckily we could have had a drink there at the restaurant. But sitting outside was not a success, you were attacked by wasps. Nothing at all has been done for the wasps. The breakfast buffet was also very poor and if you went there to eat what was inside you were bothered by wasps again. This is because the windows are open. The breakfast staff could also use a friendliness course. She was just stressing because she had to do it all alone. Still understandable. But if there was anything left, she would make it, but I think there should just be enough. So if you don't say anything, you have nothing. But the man in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful and also found it annoying that the person was not there for us with the room key. The second half of the week there was a nice woman at breakfast who took care of everything. Everything was in stock. This of course after writing my review.

We decided at short notice, despite Corona, to take a short vacation in Valwig and stayed in the "Gästehaus in Valwig" (Haus Rita) for three nights after we had no problem finding a space in the free public parking …

We stayed at "Rita's house" for a long weekend, we were told a rich breakfast, haha, 2 rolls per person, and on Monday the other bread was good to feed to the rabbits! The rooms and the entire house were dirty. …

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very nice. A hairdryer in the room is actually standard these days and would be an advantage. Upon request, a hairdryer was provided to us. The rooms are very noisy. Unfortunately! We had to have breakfast in the country inn about 100 meters away, which wasn't a problem for us. Rich buffet and nice staff. Definitely go there for dinner. !!!! Delicious!

The photo from her site looks nicer than you expect, you are already being fooled because she uses backgrounds that are not there. …

The rooms were rustic but I like that. What really bothered me was the “tone”. We were there for 5 days and when we left we had to leave at 10am. I know that too and it's normal. But at 9:30 a.m. the owners came in and started yelling at us about why we weren't out yet. I informed her that the room is booked until 10 a.m. No apology, she walked out without a word.

First of all: the breakfast was TOP! The service was child-friendly and the selection at the buffet was great and left nothing to be desired. From rice pudding to breakfast eggs, everything was there and we found having breakfast in this atmosphere very pleasant. But: We mentioned several times that we were bringing a toddler aged 16 months. (vacation 1 week)We arrived and were given a room with only a shower niche directly in the room and a tiny toilet in a separate room. The room was approximately 12 square meters in size! We brought an extra bed with us. After setting it up, we had to constantly move a chair back and forth around the room so that we could still walk. There was hair in the bed and the ventilation in the tiny toilet without a window also didn't work.On the third day we happened to see some of the other twin rooms, these were large, spacious and had a separate bathroom.A disgrace for us. We will never go there again! Child-unfriendly high 10.Definitely not suitable for families with children!
