UK. Arrived as part of a large group. Excellent service! Chose the 6 wine taster with cheese €18.50 2 Red 2 Rose & 2 White. All excellent! From the owners own vineyard and a treat of being shown around. Excellent wine Excellent service from a chap who is obviously very proud of his wines.

We were here today on a saturday 16-03-2024 around 13:00.Went to the door where it said: 'ring here'. There was a short 'yes?'. After asking if they were open we got the response: 'nein,..... nein. Nein.'No opening of the door, no kind invitation or advice to go to another winery around there in the village, no kind full sentences or 'unfortunately we are not open but we'll be open another time. Felt quite unfriendly and even rude.We had the wine the night before and one of them is actually good.

Very pleasant atmosphere with excellent wines. Well worth a stop to rest your legs after a long day of sightseeing in Cochem. The wine was excellent.

First of all, my rating only refers to the consumption of drinks and food on site. I didn't rent a room...The positive, the staff was quite friendly, the wine and the Winzlerfladen were very tasty. Now unfortunately comes the big but. A large and a small wine list were handed out for consumption on site. To get a better overview of the wines, I only looked at the small wine list, but this is the take-away price of the wines, which was neither mentioned by the staff nor was it visible on the small menu. In addition, the prices on the menu do not match the actual prices, so my total bill was about 20 euros more expensive. When I pointed out this grievance and, in my opinion, an attempt to deceive the staff, they simply said that this fact was known and that they would pass it on to the boss. No refund, no discount nothing.Therefore...=> Be sure to ask for prices beforehand or go to another location straight away.....what a shame.

A great accommodation with cozy and modern rooms in a good location. The family is super nice and you can also sit comfortably in the winery and have a good meal and drink.

I like to drink sweet wines, especially Kerner. I've had it sent several times via parcel service and bought it locally today because we were nearby. Gladly again...

As every year on October 18th, 2023, we went to Göbel-Schaustern for a wine in the restaurant and continue to be impressed by the hospitality of the innkeepers. Of course the wine also tasted excellent. It's a pleasure to come there every year. We can particularly recommend it to all visitors to Ernst. We wish the team good health and always satisfied guests.
