We ate at their restaurant with a great view, the schnitzel was just great, no pressed and frozen meat that they put in the deep fryer, but real good meat, not frozen and fried in a skillet. You really can taste the difference.

Place is charming, overall ok, but business is run like a hobby. Things started to go down when they refused to take credit cards. For an online reservation, it’s sort of reasonable to think they’d be ready? It’s very easy to see who like to evade taxes. The place and rooms were ok, but lots of little things broken and missing. I’m cool with no shampoo, empty bottle of hand soap, and none of the drains going down but to blame me for a small broken towel rod was a bit of the wall.As soon as I started pointing out some of the faults and explain this was all there before the owner explained he doesn’t speak English ;)

The owner is very friendly.||Rooms are comfortable but bathrooms should be refurbished. They are from the nineties. Shower is not functionnal, showercabin is narrow. In one room there's a water matress which the owner is very proud on. …

Very basic hotel room. Not a 3 star hotel. I say it's hostel level. Not worth the money charged. Breakfast very modest.

We spent a long weekend there. The house was built around 1800. It's nicely renovated, but not super modern. Everything is very clean. We received a very friendly welcome! The breakfast wasn't outstanding, but sufficient. I would have liked some more muesli. From our room there was access to a large terrace with a view of the Moselle! The dinner was very tasty!

A big 10!!! Breakfast very good! Delicious chocolate milk was made for breakfast for the children! Hot sandwiches! Many types of toppings! The room was super neat, we had a family room, children had their own room, neat sanitary facilities! The owner was really super friendly, we had hot food included, really fantastic! Super tasty, and more than enough! Highly recommended! Thank you Berend, for 3 fantastic days in Valwig/Cochum, we certainly hope to visit Valwig again and then come back to the Valwiger Herrenberg!!! Thank you very much for the good care! Kind regards, Peter and Ageeth Wijbergen, Eva and Jeffrey.

Has probably already seen its best times...As already described, no card payment possible. Otherwise you can sit very nicely on the outside terrace.
