The hotel isn't as bad as people think. You pay for what you get. For one night to go and watch the air show it did the job! Our beds were clean, bathroom was fine and the owner (the Italian man) is wonderful. I would happily go back for a trip overnight. Thank you! :)

This is by far the worst hotel I have been into. There was dried blood on bedsheets. Sweat filled yellow pillows and stains all over the duvet covers. I pre phoned the hotel manager to confirm that I would be arriving at the hotel quite late at night due to an event I was at most of the day. He said this was fine. At 10:30-11pm we were back to the hotel and noticed the state of the bed and other issues in the room. The bathroom contained mould, which wasn’t the biggest issues and could have been ignored but adding DRIED BLOOD on the bedsheets this was absolutely inhabitable for the night. I ended up driving home at 12am due to not being able to get into the bed due to the state. The manager tried to give more pillows to correct the issues of the sweat however the 5 pillows he brought were bright yellow too and then manager said “are you not embarrassed waking me up for these issues”. We had two disabled guests in the party of 4 and this was just not suitable for their needs. If I could give 0 stars I would. All of issues discussed have been photographed.

Well you may be surprised I've given a 5. However yes the hotel is very dated and really need a complete modernisation. On arrival great location to south of Blackpool opposite beach and has to ts own parking which is free .close to pleasure beach and st Anne's and Lytham. I'm was greeted by a lovely polite and friendly but also professional gentleman. This was the owner. Then the owners son appeared again very polite and friendly had lovely conversation about Italy where the owner is from..the showed me to my room. How many hotels do that nowadays, it cost nothing but it's something that stuck on my head. The room again dated and needs modernisation. But 2 single beds and a small shower sink and toilet. For the price your not going to get the Ritz. But what you do get here is a very friendly profession family business which is loved although needs updating. Well done and I look forward to seeing you again StevenTapper .

Good points - owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. It's very close to the pleasure beach and the sandcastle waterpark. Nice view from the room I was in.Bad points - I stayed in room 2 with my children and my friend stayed in room 16 with her children. The rooms and toilet facilities/towels are dirty and the bedding had not been changed prior to visiting. The bed my son was sleeping in smelled of urine. A tile from the ceiling in the bathroom also fell on his head. The blinds had not seen a duster ever and the carpet had a sticky sweet still left there. All of this was bad enough to never want to return but after we returned home we realised we had bites from bedbugs and I find a bedbug on my couch! I then went on to read some reviews from the hotel and realised other people complained of a bedbug issue. I wish I'd seen these reviews before staying there. I've had to spend a ridiculous amount of money trying to combat this horrendous issue and I think it's absolutely disgusting that this hotel is still allowed to trade business. My friend and I both reported the issue to Blackpool council and hopefully will be closed down as they are a danger to public health.

2 stars as the staff who greeted us were very friendly. But once we got into our rooms, it was horrendous! Rooms were small and felt dirty as soon as you walked in. Towels were dirty and were more like the size of a tea towel. Hot water in the shower took about 10 minutes to come through, and the water flow pressure was shocking! It was like someone was on the other side of the shower blowing the water through a straw, lol. A few unsafe areas around the rooms that seriously need updating. It's maybe called the Roman hotel as it was built in roman times and stopped unchanged.

This hotel was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. the manager was rude and dismissive, when all we asked was for clean bed sheets as they had clearly not been cleaned from the previous customer, and had all marks on the bottom sheets, the bins were full of their rubbish and the shower was that yellow it looked like they had been smoked in. Absolutely vile. This hotel had clearly not been cleaned, not even just a quick clean and tidy before we got there. The rooms smelt musky. All we got was ‘ what do you expect from a 2* ? ‘ well we expect clean sheets and a empty bin for a start… the kettle was still full of water. We ended up having to pay double and get another hotel as there was Noway I could stay there with my two year old son.. he would end up getting a skin disease from the dirt! I’ve never seen anywhere so dirty in my life and if anyone can stay there they must really be mental!Never in our life have we been spoken to the way we was at that hotel, when we were really polite about the situation. This whole hotel needs knocking down before someone gets poorly or injured on the sockets that are covered up by tape.

If I could give negative starts I would. The rooms were in condition where it would be dangerous to sleep in. Mould, holes and dirt everywhere. We ended up booking a new hotel as we were literally SCARED to sleep there. The smell was absolutely disgusting what I could only describe as rotten food mixed with smoke from cigs.

Absolutely DISGUSTING!! Room was filthy! ! There was holes in the doors where people has punched & kicked them through. The shower was dirty and mouldy and had sand all over it where it hadn’t been cleaned. There was rubbish in the bin. Thick dirt and dust all over the windows and blinds. Bed sheets was dirty stained and smelly. We had to pay for another hotel as we had 2 kids with us 2 & 8 and no way could they stay in such a disgusting place! The floors was stained.
