The room was new and clean but very basic with no hand towel and a shower that you could barely fit into. The bed was comfortable but you would not be getting much sleep due to the severe road noise that was constantly there even with the window closed 😑 what did make this hotel even more terrible was the food this was basic and still cooked badly 😢 oven chips that were burnt at the ends and still frozen in the middle, then the chicken burger that was actually just 2 frozen chicken nuggets and then they charged you £15 for this and made you wait 2 hours for it, main problem was you had 1 lady working the bar and taking food orders and the 4 staff just messing about in and out of the kitchen and resembled a kids play areaI would not be using this hotel again

Room was decent enough, I had the view of the runway of the airport, but surprisingly with the window closed, couldn't hear much!Service was great and all staff were friendly. It's, as you can see, right next to the airport so perfect for anyone travelling.Only annoyance is the carpark, book it in advance and its £10, if you make the mistake we did, it's £50 for the night.Vending machines in the hotel as there's no nearby shops was a nice touch, a little pricey but I get it.

Stopped here for 10 days they hadn't change my bedding for 6 days so complaind they said they only change it every 7 days.Put the top me up sign out to get fresh towel and toilet roll but they forgot at least one item every day. I went to the bar there was at least 6 people in the que and only one person serving while 2 other staff watched. Wouldn't recommend it.

The Travel Lodge was clean, efficient, and adequate for our needs. The shower, TV, and bed were good. Free wifi for the first 30 minutes and then pay after was an interesting learning g experience. For the price of the room, In My opinion it should of been free.

This is my first time in Birmingham, and without a doubt, the worst hotel experience of my life. I paid £410 for three nights, and from the moment I arrived around 4 PM, it has been an absolute disaster. The constant noise from aircrafts taking off and landing every few minutes is unbearable. I haven't been able to sleep for even a minute due to the deafening noise pollution. It feels like torture.I specifically told the receptionist, Fab, that I suffer from severe insomnia, and he assured me I would be placed in a quieter room. What a joke. The room I was given was the exact opposite—it's what I'd call a nightmare, not a quiet space. The worst part? The staff, including the so-called supervisor working the night of 23 September 2024, couldn’t care less. When I complained about the noise and asked how I could cancel the remaining two nights, I was met with total indifference. The supervisor was dismissive, almost as if my complaint was a nuisance. He couldn’t even be bothered to properly assist me and just handed me a number to call, like that would magically solve the problem.Whoever thought it was a good idea to build hotel in this location must be out of their mind. And to not even bother mentioning the relentless noise pollution from the nearby airport and the busy dual carriageway in their hotel description? That’s just downright dishonest and heartless. They clearly don’t care about their guests' well-being.Do yourself a favor—stay far away from this hellhole of a hotel.

Well I am for once , delighted to leave such a good review for Travelodge 😄.Birmingham airport hotel has recently been renovated and the rooms were nice and fresh looking, the bathrooms were bright and clean. My only advise would be to get rid of the robot cleaners... They do not get into the corners of the room !!!! But that is my only complaint. The reception area was great, modern and very clean, bar staff were lovely too.We got a deal direct with the hotel for parking, we were only there for 24 hours attending a family party... So we only paid £10 and the carpark(7) was directly outside of the hotel. The cost of my double room was a little less than £30 a night, a bargain!!!!I did pay an extra £11 something for breakfast, but it was delicious. As much food and coffee as you like.Coffee was great, food delicious and hot and buffet style. There was plenty there for vegetarians too with meats free sausages along with the usual breakfast choices. If you are flying, a shuttle bus picks you up and drops you off right outside the hotel.I don't know the cost of parking for a week or more, but I'm sure the hotel would have a deal.So all in all I would say that some of their other hotels should take a leaf out of Birmingham airport hotel, great place, great staff and great price...

Room was nice, the rest of the hotel is absolutely awful, I’ve had better food at the animal shelter, and better service in a circus. If you can don’t stay here, £49 to pay to park here for one night! What an awful experience to start my holiday!
