For a budget hotel I feel this hotel is excellent value for money. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable but it is the staff who make it a place I return to. Always friendly and helpful. I am made to feel valued and welcome. …

We stayed for 2 nights, the chap at reception was very friendly and helpful, the room was very hot, we had to have the fan on at night but overall the room was very comfortable...We had vouchers for breakfast in the services that were a 2 minute walk and it was fast friendly service and a very nice meal. There is a small drive to the next junction at Weston or if your adventurous there is a lane that gets used on the left of the services....Over all a very enjoyable stay and would recommend if your wanting to sleep then night or even stay a day or two.

Lauren is always happy, friendly and helpful. She goes out of her way to ensure the guests are happy. She always remembers us and makes us feel very welcome. |If everyone who works there took a leaf out of Lauren's book, it would be fantastic! |Thank you Lauren.

I arrived at 11:30 p.m. and I had clearly been overbooked. There was no room for me and the receptionist spent ages looking around for one and eventually gave me a key card for a particular room. I let myself in but there was a man asleep in bed and I quickly apologized and left. Supposing this had been a woman or someone of nervous disposition? Not a good system. I couldn't possibly recommend any of my family to stay there if this sort of thing is going to happen. The receptionist called his boss and the boss told him to get hold of one of the guests yet to arrive and divert him to the Ramada Bristol South which was a "better quality Hotel" as he himself described it. I was then given that person's room and when I did get to the room the sheets and bed seemed clean but clearly someone had previously smoked in that room and although the shower was good I would not want to sit in the bath which looks rather grey and in need of a good bleach ! I took the precaution of wearing slippers as I did not feel that the carpet was terribly clean. I wouldn't stay here again and I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay until they sought themselves out particularly the booking system. The only reason I gave one star was because it was cheap and the receptionist tried hard. You get what you paid for and I had only planned to sleep there for 5 hours anyway......

All staff that we spoke to were pleasant, polite, and accommodating. Our room was clean, though tired. The hotel was adequate for our needs - a one night stop-over with our dog.We found the surrounding green areas useful to exercise the dog.

Spent one night here before our flight from Bristol. As all these motorway places it was ok for one night. The receptionist put us at an end away from others when we told her our flight was at 3am 😂. At least we were not disturbed.

Tatty in some aspects in rooms. But the warmth, comfort and relatively quiet more than makes up for peeling wall paper.Enjoyed our 3 night stay. Would definitely stay again even as a holiday.

Helpful staff, easy to find. Shame it’s one way and you have to go north unless you come in the back way and leave the back way! Or it’s 25 mins to turn back round!Room was thick with dust, not clean atall, carpets hadn’t been hovered. Had to ask for a travel cot as wasn’t in the room as requested! If it was cleaner it would have been totally acceptable for a cheap hotel! But a simple dust and hoover doesn’t take long.
