This is our 5th stay at this hotel and as a family it is one of our favourites. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The family rooms are very large, the beds are super comfortable and the staff, just wonderful. …

We had a 1 day conference here. The functions rooms are really well presented, nicely furnished with high end products. The lunch was really good and tasty. The grounds are stunning and well maintained, all the staff stop to say hello when you walk past them. I’d love to come back as a hotel guest and spend more time to exploring. The ice cream cart was a really good afternoon treat as it was 30 degrees outside.

Abbie the receptionist was absolutely wonderful to me while checking in for my birthday weekend.Amazing staff and beautiful location! The hotel has amazing facilities and great breakfast, I had a fantastic stay here. The bar had a great range of drinks, the pool was clean and tidy and the gym had some good equipment. The estate itself is absolutely gorgeous, and you can venture around it freely whenever you wish.Would certainly be visiting again!

For the price I really don't rate it for a 4 star hotel. The photos on here are obviously premium rooms or taken some time ago. We were in a standard room which felt small and very humid. No air temperature control and couldn't open window/door more than 1cm which also exposed you to airplane noise but wasn't enough to get any air flow. No mini fridge, a long walk from the hotel facilities as we were at the very far end of the hotel in a more modern building which didn't feel modern. Water marks on the walls, needed a paint. Glad to have a fan in the room but it was covered in dust which is hard to pick up in photo but blew dust around when turned on. Damaged bathroom woodwork, shower door which leaks. No exhaust fan in bathroom which exacerbated the humidity in the room on a warm day. Good points were good sized indoor pool with towels available. Small play area outside is good. Breakfast was a good range of options. But then they rushed us out at 10am which I expected them to clear food but didn't think you'd have to also move so quickly from the table. Just felt like a substandard room for the price.

Horrible Experience – Never Again!I had high expectations for this hotel, but my stay was an absolute disaster from the moment we arrived. The receptionist was shockingly rude and treated us very differently compared to the British guest checking in before us. While the guest in front of us was greeted with a smile and offered assistance with their luggage, we were met with a scowl. When we politely requested a second room key since we were two adults, she huffed and seemed visibly annoyed, making no effort to hide her disdain. We stayed for three nights, and after the first night, our room was completely ignored by housekeeping. They simply opened the door and placed the cleaning sign inside, but nothing was actually cleaned or refreshed. After contacting guest services, it took over two hours for them to respond. Shockingly, the same thing happened the next night, despite our specific complaints and requests for proper room service. For the amount I paid (over £500 for three nights), I expected far better. The rooms were old, dirty, and clearly in need of attention, and the staff’s unprofessionalism made everything worse. This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Avoid this place at all costs!

Lovely comfortable stay thank you. Very professional and friendly staff. Delicious food at the restaurant. Sebi our waiter made us feel really welcomed and looked after. We stayed in the main building and I loved the huge windows and quirky decor. Thank you!

Very strange place - had a corporate away day here and we left items in the conference room whilst doing team building; this room was then cleared for dinner and an item left in that room was lost. The hotel said “it’s a public space so nothing should be left in it”. Considering the room was paid for and was used exclusively by us, we wouldn’t expect that being treated as “public”. Also rooms in green wing are drab and old, and a colleague had cockroaches. Needs a freshen up! The bar area and grounds are nice however
