Stayed here the night before our cruise. perfect distance to shops, restaurants, train station and cruise terminal. Breakfast nice, rooms great size only issue we had was Aircon wasn't working but we had a large fan in our room and it was packed when checking out with all other cruisers staying in same hotel. Highly recommend will stay here again for our next visit to Southampton

There were a couple of minor issues on arrival but were very quickly rectified. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Bed was very comfortable. And the only noise we really heard were the trains but that was a nice relaxing sound. ||Would recommend premier inn 6 dials to anyone wanting a budget hotel with a top notch rating.

I’ve stayed here a few times now as I work for one of the cruise liners based in Southampton. I have never had a bad experience here.Nice to always see the same friendly staff too. Sara at evening dinner says ‘welcome back’ and is so friendly and provides excellent customer service. It really is a pleasure to be served by her each time I come.I was late for dinner last night but she made sure I was able to get something and even though it was a takeaway I could eat it at the table.

Rooms a little bit tired but clean and functional. Arrived and went straight to dinner, the service from the duty manager Sara was exceptional!! Absolutely made our visit. Sara is one of the most attentive and kind restaurant staff I have met.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with very friendly hotel staff who checked us in promptly. They were organised and everything went smoothly. We opted to eat in the restaurant and on arrival, the same lady that checked us in was waiting for us and remembered us and my little boy. She had tables waiting and then waited us on all evening. It’s clear the staff have to be a jack of all trades working here and have to chop and change throughout their shift to accommodate. She was polite and friendly and looked after us for our whole meal, nothing was too hard. Breakfast was the same, a friendly face greet us at the door and was very accommodating throughout. Overall, we had a lovely stay, we always stay in premier inn but this is one that stands out for service. The only issue was had was parking, on arrival (5pm) there were 2 spaces left, luckily me and others in our party were able to get them. However, the space we got was very tight and difficult to park as the car park is so small for the size of the hotel. It’s also used as a public car park and is not only for hotel guests, there are no other car parks nearby, so if you’re travelling with a lot of gear like we were with a toddler, if you don’t get a space you could be stuck having to park miles away. The car park needs to be for hotel guests only. I’d also make a note that you’re only given one key card, so for us as a family of three, it wasn’t really enough. My husband had to run down to the car which he’d need to use the key card for as it’s all fobs to get in and out of the lift etc, which meant he had to take our only card that was in the mains socket as you come in the door of the room. This meant that for the 15 minutes he was going back to the car, I was sat in complete darkness in the room and had access to nothing.

Rooms are basic. Just what we needed as only used this to sleep the night while we travelled to Marwell zoo.Air con didn't work. And with no bathroom window. If you have a bath or a shower the room gets uncomfortably hot !! Windows have safety limit on how much you can open them which is fine. But when you've got no other source of fresh air it's not nice.Beds were comfy. Bathroom was mostly clean but bathtub clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. For the one night we stayed it was fine but I'd not like to stay any longer. Outside of the hotel looks quite rough and the area I didn't want to explore.Food and service in the restaurant was great, especially for the money.

Staff are lovely and friendly, obviously I can't vouch for all rooms, but my particular room, the air-conditioning is broken (and obviously has been for a while because there is a fan in the corner) The bed is hard and toilet fan is the noisiest thing ever (but is fine when turned off, just don't use the light in the night)Good points are that the room is on the same floor as the restaurant (lvl5) and the black out curtains are incredible. Also parking is poor, not enough spaces for the hotel it seems, managed to move into a space this morning but last night had to park infront of skips that are taking up two spaces.

Really lovely as usual. Can't beat premier Inn (and I've tried a few of the others). Slept like a baby after travelling from Devon to see a band I like and having a few drinks. Staff were great and helped out with parking fees as the machines were down. Room was warm, windows were great at keeping main road noises out, bath was LOVELY, and the bed was soooo comfy. I'll be back, no doubt. Oh and it was very cheap too with decent check-in and out times.
