Stayed here as attending a gig at the o2 Apollo which was only a 15 minute walk away. Like many other reviews we had issues with the sat nav directions but eventually got where we needed to be. …

Pleasantly surprised!||Don't be fooled by entrance, best premier in Manchester. ||Arrived early, kept our bags no problem. |Had booked a double room instead of twin, but reception arranged a twin for us. …

It has been absolutely disappointing. The staff were incredibly unhelpful, and blatantly rude. The room I was initially given had a bed that was not made up and I was expected to do this myself (the reception staff recommended I do this). This was after waiting at the front desk for 15-20 minutes as there was no one at the desk. After a long discussion I was then moved to another room. This room was still incorrect as I booked a family room and was only given a double bed and a small single.

I arrived 20 minutes before check in and was told the room wasn't ready. You can check in early for 10 pounds extra if requested at reception so surely the room would have been ready if I had asked for that option? Unwilling to pay, I thought I'd have a coffee and wait the 20 minutes, but the cafe and restaurant was closed. The young blonde guy on the check in desk didn't even look up from his screen and was quite dismissive. The room itself was clean, comfy and as expected, with a check out of 12pm which is generous.

Reception is on floor 9 so when you walk in take the lift up. Bar is good. Had a few pints. Rooms are nice. Nothing to complaint about.

It's difficult to get excited about Premiere Inn, isn't it? However, the location is perfect for us. Easy parking - not cheap but secure and straightforward. The rooms are immaculate: clean, crisp bed linen and lovely fresh bathrooms. Lots of hot water, and a relaxing bath after a long motorway drive.Breakfast buffet sets a high standard, with a clean, bright restaurant, really excellent food and courteous, smart staff.Worth the money, but cheaper if you book in advance.
