Honestly size or quality of the room was not the issue, neither was staff they were incredible honestly, but there were a couple of issues:- acoustic isolation is non existant. I can hear everything going on in the other rooms.- extremely loud ac. I don't know if mine was broken or not but it clanked so much that it was impossible to sleep with it in- hairdryer had so much dust in the back that I'm pretty sure it was a fire hazardElse, in my opinion the breakfast is not worth the cost but the bar and staff are really good and helpful

The location is great, right by the tube and a bunch of shops and restaurants. The staff we interacted with is amazing and friendly, Unmati was a standout we loved her. The rooms are small and cute but the bathroom rooms are made of glass so that’s something to know before booking (wouldn’t want to stay with a friend, or stay in separate rooms unless you’re REALLY comfortable seeing everything). Great experience! Loved them :)

Great hotel. It isn't luxury & has few 'frills' but it is clean, comfortable, has everything you could reasonably need, & the staff are great. It is also very modestly priced given its excellent location, just a few minutes' walk away from Old Street Station. I will definitely be returning when I next have to work in the Shoreditch/Hoxton area.

Very clean, staff were extremely helpful. Loved the location. Surrounding bus stations. The cleaners were always working hard to keep the place spotless, and it really showed.

The place is fine but the basement rooms are impossible for those with light sleep, you can feel the trains until late at night and early in the morning which makes it really hard to have a good sleepOther than that, the room is fine, is what you need for a couple of days but it is a really small room. The area of the hotel is nice, near to a tube station for easy transportation.

I didn’t have that high of expectations when I booked this hotel it was a good rate for Central London and I knew the room would be quite small, but I was really delighted when I walked in. …

We stayed here 3 nights to celebrate our anniversary. It was a nice stay but a couple of issues which I think could have been avoided. However, I’ll start with the positives:Positives- great value for money, really hard to beat for London.- location is only a couple of tube stops from Covent Garden and other peak stops.- cheese and wine (included in your stay if a z member) you are offered 3 types of red and white and one type of rose. The Sauvignon Blanc is outstanding!!! My fave.- breakfast served until 11am- early check in and if a member or it’s available- plenty of places to eat in nearby- friendly staffNegatives- if staying multiple nights (as we were) you must say if you want your room making up (including toilet roll!) We didn’t know this until we came back after a very long day and when I went to reception I was told it says so in the room on a card in the bathroom. Having checked the card I hadn’t really noticed but presumed it mentioned about not changing towels etc it did say in small font that you have to let reception know if you want your room making up / cleaning each day. I think it would be better to tell guests staying more than 1 night on arrival about this too as very easy to miss and personally not what we want when staying multiple nights somewhere!- no way of contacting reception from your room without actually looking for the hotel phone number and calling it on your mobile or going down to reception.- our tv didn’t work on the first night until the following afternoon. I had to phone down and someone came up and who was very nice and apologised it couldn’t be sorted until the next day when maintenance came in. We were asked if there was anything they could do like feee breakfast but we had already paid for breakfast in our room rate, so a bottle of wine suggested. We were told a manager would speak to us at breakfast. However nobody came over so we had to speak to staff at reception and we were told it would be fixed today and no offer of wine or an apology.- reception itself is extremely small and part of the bar. Queues form quickly if more than one person waiting to be seen.- toiletries included aren’t great, especially in comparison to Z Hotel Bath who use a different supplier.Overall, in comparison to the Z Hotel Bath, where we stayed in the summer, I was a little disappointed it didn’t match the same quality but still brilliant value for money and I would stay in a Z Hotel again because I was so impressed with the member perks. If staying in London again, I would pick a newer Z Hotel in a more central location to Leicester Square or Trafalgar etc. but this is my personal preference.

We booked one of the small underground rooms without a window so we knew what we were getting, although the basement area was noisier than expected with both overhead trains and other guests shouting down the corridors into the early hours. The room although small was relatively clean. Although quite hilariously the privacy glass on the bathroom was the wrong way around so you could see in from the outside but not out from the inside. The hotel staff were friendly and we were invited to a free wine and cheese tasting in the reception. Also the location of the hotel is fantastic and it is very easy to access central London if you are a tourist. My last point, and rather a London issue not just limited to this hotel, but the price is outrageous for what you get. The room we had is regularly £300 a night, and it is in the basement of the hotel, with no window, and barley big enough have a suitcase or two.

The location of this hotel is good, it is close to Old Street tube station, and a couple of tube stops away from Kings Cross/ Euston.|Unfortunately however I did not enjoy my stay here. …

I came sadly with 3 prepaid rooms from 🇩🇪 Germany and without wife & daughter due to sudden illness. Check in took much time … and I ended down in a basement room with no window - l was really depressed this first night. But I got unexpected smiles and friendliness and generosity given back from the hotel’s manager: an upgrade to the 2nd floor and a refund for the not accessed room! British fairness on the weekend UK 🇬🇧 Football meets its greatest challenge since 58 years … to beat Spain 🇪🇸 in the EM Championship 2024!Otherwise a family friendly clean and well organised hotel with polite staff and excellent position for all touristic activities - Thumbs up 👍🏻 and a promised return !
