Great hotel, clean and great value for money, friendly helpfull staff. Location is great for exploring Spitalfields and the surrounding area. We spent the evening at a local festival so was perfect for us. Bit grey today but we'll just crack on. Would come again definately :)

The room was very reasonably priced and an excellent location to enjoy Brick Lane. The room was very clean and is a good place to use as a base to explore the area. The staff were polite, and the checkout time (noon) was very reasonable. Brick Lane is a very busy area, so I wouldn't expect a super quiet stay. Didn't hear any of the other guests, however.

Having booked the place on a slightly drunken evening, it wasn't until the next day I read the reviews.||I was concerned but pleasantly surprised when we arrived! …

Absolutely horrible. The “reception” is a Bangladesh restaurant. Staff have proper attitude and are very pushy. |The room is dirty top to bottom. Clearly not been cleaned. Not to mention the bathroom, made me feel sick - mould and gross in all areas. Also didn’t get my money back, booked 3 nights didn’t even stay for 1 hour!

HORRIBLE!!! The rooms look Nothing like the pictures! We were there in november and the heating didn't work at all. It was just as cold in the room as outside! Also you could hear any noise from the street as well.Going to the bathroom was a nightmare really freezing cold and also very dirty. We were there for 1 week and no one cleaned or changed the sheets in 7 days! He only came once to ask for our garbage and threw that away... wow "thanks". The staff are lazy and wont do anything for you.Even checking in was idiotic. When we ringed the doorbell, nobody was there for 15 min. Turned out, he was getting a coffee somewhere and just left! Without a doubt the worst s**thole I have ever seen! How they dare to ask €102 for this shabby .... is beyond believe! 1 star is way too many. If you complain afterwards = no money back.

I was disappointed with the service and a lack of resolution to my issue. |The issue I had was that there was loud constant banging and drilling on the next door wall.|When I told the people in charge, they gave a number to call. …

This little hotel in a historic building (the old Frying Pan pub) was a perfect pitstop in Brick Lane. The rooms are refurbished, clean with TV, fridge, onsuite loo and shower. The room size is bigger than you'd expect for the price, which is really good for London. The staff are also lovely. Would 100% book again.

A budget hotel, so expectations weren't very high anyway. The staff were really friendly and pleasant! However, there were still some real short falls with the place regards the state of the place.  …

In favor of the hotel I would highlight its location, personally I like it.The staff has been very friendly at all times, also has recommended me some nice stores to buy.The rooms were in good condition, although it is true that they should improve a little more in the cleanliness.Overall, my stay was positive.

I am not sure how this is even listed as London accomodation, on Booking.com. It makes me wonder if anyone actually checks that these places meet any standards.I refused to stay and preferred to take the train back home for 2 hours and come …
