Location was a bit of a train ride to the middle of London but nothing crazy, very doable and time went by fast. Was nice that the train station was right across the street from it. Good food options and small stores around the area. Receptionist was really nice. Rooms were clean. If you booked a room with multiple people staying in it, getting to the top of the bunk can get annoying since the bunk beds are stacked on top of each other in three’s. For showers you have to keep pushing the dial for water to come out, water was warm. It was nice that a straightener and blow dryer was provided. Not the most social hostel, some of the common areas were small but still nice and was able to meet other travelers. Good friendly budget hostel.

It's just a cute hostel w/ the most friendly staff! They got me vegan milk so I could have breakfast without me having to ask 🫠Only thing is that the ladies toilets / are on the 3rd floor and my room (15 bed dorm female) was on the 2nd floor. But that's champagne problems! I really enjoyed my time w/ them and will definitely be coming back 😊

London Backpackers was a fantastic choice for my trip! The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The hostel has a cozy atmosphere, and the currency-decorated wall added a unique touch. My room was clean and comfortable, and the location was super convenient for exploring the city. I loved the welcoming vibe and the chance to meet other travelers. Highly recommend!

First time at a hostel and it was a great experience! All the staff and other travelers were friendly, and the decoration of the building was fun and lively. The breakfast was simple but a great deal for just £3, and it was free for Sunday! Nelly at the reception was super helpful with recommendations for things to do around London. I was in the 12 person all female room, and the only critique I had for it was that the room was quite hot for sleeping, even with the windows open and fans on. But the beds were very comfortable, each equipped it’s privacy curtains, outlets, reading light, and small shelf. Would definitely stay here again!

The bunk bed is bigger although the pillow is slightly thin, there are plenty of plugs and cables on your bed. The room and the shower are clean. There’s no shower gel/shampoo in the shower so be sure to pack them. They’re very helpful and generous, they allow you to store your stuff without paying, and for you to hang out for a while although you’ve checked out. There’s free breakfast on Sunday. You can also use microwave or the shared kitchen. It takes 30seconds to arrive to the hostel from Hendon Central. And different kind of shops within the vicinity. It sits on the northern line tube so, the central London is easily accessible without having to change your line. Overall a comfortable hostel stay. Thank you!

**DO NOT BOOK HERE - THEY MAY NOT HONOUR YOUR BOOKING**I had a booking this week, but I was turned away just before midnight when I was checking in. Turfed out onto the streets in the rain with no other accommodation option, because it was too late to find an alternative. I had paid long before I had arrived, but the receptionist made up a rule which stated that if you return to stay again within 60 days, you can only book directly with the hotel. Because I had stayed for two nights the previous week, they said my booking, which was via booking.com, was invalid. The only way they would let me stay, is if I paid for my stay again. There was absolutely no reference to such terms anywhere on booking.com or in any of their emails - which if it was an open and transparent policy would be clearly on the website. Indeed, when I took my concerns to booking.com, they agreed that this rule was made up and they were unaware of it. They were as shocked as I was! I believe it is to encourage people to book directly to save on commission booking.com take.Of all my years staying at hotels and accommodation all over the world, I have never EVER had a situation such as this. The rude, uninterested and unsympathetic receptionist also made the situation so much worse.I will be continuing to liaise with booking.com and will be asking that they remove this rogue accommodation provider from the site as a matter of urgency, to prevent others from falling for this trick, and will also be seeking other redress.Never, ever, EVER give this place your custom. Because you cannot guarantee your booking will be honoured when you get there and it was a wholly unpleasant experience. Just don’t take the risk.
