Rooms are tidy. The beds are quite low but clean. Staff are friendly. Good location for price. The street is quite noisy with people outside. Shops, public transport, takeaways all within 10 min walk from hostel. Bathrooms are very basic and small but clean.

My drinks have been stolen by both staff and guests on both occasions I’ve stayed here. You are required to put your name, date of check out, and room number on items to prevent theft. If those aren’t on it you can take it. …

Under new management. Great place to stay, but honestly you stay here for the social aspect. You will find everyone here very welcoming and the rooms are cleaned daily. …

The staff is really nice. You can always chat with them. If you travel alone, you can always do the planned activities with the group, so you get to know people from around the world. It's really fun, because in one week you get to see most of London, with a fun group and nice activities. The common areas are really well organised, it's never too crowded. I always could shower whenever I wanted to.Really good hostel, for the location and the price. I would go there again.

This hostel was the most disappointing of the four I stayed at in the past two weeks. If negative stars were an option, I would give it that. The actual conditions were far from the appealing pictures they presented. Although Manager Charles was helpful and pleasant, my experience with staff member Liliana, an Asian woman, was quite the opposite. She appeared condescending and unprofessional, especially in contrast to her friendly interaction with a previous white guest. This inconsistent treatment left me perplexed. Whether due to my appearance or not being a local, I cannot say. Regardless, I strongly advise against choosing this hostel. It falls short of expectations and is a regrettable use of money. I'd prefer sleeping at a bus stop over staying here again.

Stayed for one night when visiting London. I think the hostel was good value for money, the room was clean and tidy. Staff were polite and wished us safe travels when we left.Personal preference, I prefer a key card system for room keys but understand the reasons they have opted for code lock on doors instead.Keep up the good work.

I had very low expectations about this place because references are awful and my experience was very positive, nothing to do with the bad things I read. The only thing I didn't like was that I really needed a cold shower, oh Goddd. And there wasn't any cold water and it was so hot these days in London, I was sweating so much and I almost pass out under that hot shower's water. Really. The staff very attentive, specially through email. The girl working there was nice but I had the impression that she didn't speak/understand English very well. The bathrooms were rather small but when you get to hostel you kinda expect no luxury. The location is awesome. I was happy with the price as well cos I payed 43£ for two nights. I stayed in a 9 beds bedroom. The bed has a thick blanket, a good pillow, fresh sheets that you must put on your own (like in every hostel). The worse of the room was something out of the control of the hostel and it was the extremely unrespectful people who wouldn't mind to be super loud from the early morning, like if they were alone in their houses.

On a positive note the staff at the front desk was very nice and friendly. I paid around $235 for 4 nights. I paid a bit extra because I got the 3 bed female dorm. Even though I had a female dorm it seemed everyone else on our floor was male. There were tons of males in a shared bathroom. The room was teeny tiny and had a triple bunk bed and nothing else. There were no lockers for large backpacks in the room. The lockers were on the first floor and my room was on the third floor. I had to walk up and down the stairs every time I wanted something from my bag. I’ve been to hostels all over the world and have never been in that situation. The room was right next to the bathroom and we could hear every detail of people going to the bathroom all day and night. The toilets were often dirty and clogged. I don't know how many people shared the two toilets on the floor but it seemed like there was always a wait. It wasn’t quiet at all. There were people yelling and talking on the phone at 3am and all hours of the night. There were tons of flies even after the cleaning persons were there. I read another review that said their room had a lamp and outlet. My room did not have that. There was a terrible smell and the entire hostel seemed really really old, rundown and dirty. The location is about a 15–40-minute walk from most central places. I know it’s a budget hostel and was not expecting something fancy but if they have some pride, it can at least be decent. After staying in dozens of hostels around the world, this is the worst one. You can definitely find something for at least the same price that has higher standards than this. Yikes!

This is the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in all of Europe. Facilities are fine but management makes it worst, especially the lady in reception who is an arrogant and I kind off observed a racist angle too. They would not switch on heaters even if it’s damn cold before 8pm in the evening. I will never ever recommend this to anyone.

It is not the most comfortable accommodation but It’s a very affordable for someone with no other option. The rooms have bunk beds which are a little crowded and there is no separate room for males and females. The bathrooms are not inside the room so if your room is close to the reception, you may have to pass through the reception to get to the bathroom. They have Wi-Fi and at the reception you could buy a few consumables. The staff are warm and friendly.
