I stayed at the St Christopher’s hostel in Hammersmith. I paid £22 a night to stay in an 8 bedded female only dorm and £5 extra to have the breakfast in the morning. The dorm itself was fairly clean and tidy. There were lockers under the bed to put your stuff in (although one of the lockers was missing under my bed). I got the top bunk, it was comfy enough. The bunk light didn’t work unfortunately so had to use my phone light. The mattress depressed in the middle a bit but was comfy enough. The room had an ensuite with a toilet, sink, and shower. The shower had really good water pressure. They charge £5 for a towel so bring your own. There was also a seperate shower and toilet outside the room if the one inside the room was busy. There was a group of 18 year olds staying that were incredibly noisy in the rooms around my room. I always make sure to bring an eye mask and ear plugs. Over all, it was a good location and pretty tidy. Wouldn’t recommend the breakfast though as they started packing it up before 10am so would often miss out on half of the food/drinks.

Ok. Hostel. Very limited bathrooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. It's a safe place to stay. I didn't even use my locker. Met some great friends and had a blast at the bar downstairs. It can get rowdy but I loved the vibe. Thanks everyone

If you're a traveler hoping to get some sleep, do not go here. There is zero sound proofing and you can hear everything from the bar beneath. The bathrooms are also not clean, and it's hard to find your way around the building. Not accessible. You also need to download some stupid app to access your room and the building. The wifi connection is also awful if you're not actually in the bar.Staff is nice and food is decent, so that's good, I guess.Editing to add: The wifi truly is awful. The room was about 3 stories up and I could not get a connection, at all. Also, we found a cockroach or something in our light. Disgusting. (I'm not really blaming the place for that, but it's still gross. You don't want to see large bugs anywhere in your rooms.)

Today, I visited this place with my boyfriend, and we were absolutely disappointed. First of all, the staff wasn't great. They didn't know the menu, making us feel awkward and confused when trying to order our food. It was clear that they were unprepared and poorly trained.Second, we had to wait an astounding 40 minutes for a BLT sandwich and a crispy chicken, despite the fact that the place wasn't busy at all. The delay was unacceptable and left us frustrated and hungry. When our food finally arrived, the fries were absolutely disgusting. It was obvious that they had been cooked multiple times, a process I recognise as a professional chef. The fries were overcooked and stale, making them inedible. To make matters worse, the staff didn't even know our orders. My partner had to go to the bar to collect our food himself. The worst part of our experience was the bar man, who was more focused on chatting with one lady and sharing a takeaway from Wasabi than doing his job. It was unprofessional and disrespectful to customers.I apologise for the harsh words, but this was the worst pub experience I've had in the UK in the past 11 years. The poor service, long wait times, and terrible food quality make this place one to avoid.

I cannot recommend this place, and I don't understand how this place even has good reviews to be honest.**Pros:**- Ok locatiin- Comfortable beds**Cons:**- Only two toilets and showers per floor, which often meant having to search for a place to go.- Noise from the bar is unbearable at night.- Extra charges for everything, including luggage storage (which hostel charges for that?).- Unfriendly staff (someone in our room requested a bottom bunk due to knee issues, but their request was denied).

Very, very little sleep due to unbelievably loud noise/music from the street all night til 2am on a Tuesday due to the bar downstairs and thin walls / windows. £3 to leave your luggage (aka carry it downstairs, then have to carry it upstairs again, through the bar and up several narrow flights of stairs to the rooms) - heard the receptionist say “you have to pay to leave luggage after checkout because you’re no longer checked in with the hostel” however we had to pay when we arrived to check in, as it was earlier than 3pm as well. So basically, they’re trying to grab money from you at every opportunity. The rooms are up several narrow and uneven flights of stairs/hallways so if you have a large suitcase with wheels, forget it. Also two, yes TWO toilets (one with a broken seat) per floor despite there being about 12 rooms hosting between 2 and 8 people. I’d avoid despite a good location and the rooms being fairly clean.

I was very much not happy with my stay at this place!Except for 1 or 2 people, most of the staff members were super slow (the slowest check-in I have ever had!), not kind and always having attitude!Other than super slow check-in, they make you download an app just to be able to get into the building and to your room! Also, the inn is above the pub! And, you will not be able to go to sleep due to drunk people shouting and laughing and talking below you! This is true even if the windows are closed! The breakfast was at most basic! No coffee! There were only 3in1s! Not worth it at all!Overall, I will not recommend this place at all!

I wouldn't stay here but i visit this place for the pub, the people and the vibe. There's good music, it's easy to socialise cause there's tourists all around - so if you're alone in the city looking for a place to make a friend or two without going too far or spending much, it's not a bad place to start. However i could see how the hostel experience wouldn't be . The greatest or quietest..

The bathrooms aren't clean, some USB outlets don't charge, the wifi is slow and unreliable, the rented towels have stains, and some of the drawers under the beds are stuck so you can't store your things properly.I've stayed at 3 other St. Christopher's Inn hostels across Europe, and all were decent, but this London Bridge: The Inn location makes me never want to book another St. Christopher's hostel again. We were 3 girls who booked 3 beds in a 4 bedroom mixed dorm (they don't have female only dorms), and we've done this before with no issue. However, our assigned 4th roommate comes back drunk, and he vomits over the floor, table, and door handle. We notify management and ask to be switched but because they overbook their rooms, there's not a single open bed for us or him to relocate to.Management says they'll talk to him and clean our room, but while my friends are still in the room, the staff TELL HIM that WE COMPLAINED and he has to leave as a result. They tell him this with no regards for our safety from possible repercussions. You just told a drunk guy he has 10 minutes to pack up and find new housing at 1 am in the morning - of course he'd be mad! Management promised they'd have staff there to make sure he packed and left the premises, but when I checked with my friends, there was no staff there, leaving my friends alone with him while the situation was not deescalated. Management deactivated his key card, but they lied to us about other safety measures they had promised. When I returned to the room, the vomit was not fully cleaned up. In the picture, you can still see tan chunks on the floor and table after staff "cleaned" the room.Overall, we were very dissatisfied with this hostel, and we had to book at another place immediately after.
