ok value. has never let me down. even stayed with the wife pre flight back home to China! Location is good and very late check in allowed. Probably the best value budget hotel in London. It is self catering and relaxed feeling. Massive house, lots of room types.

There are no words strong enough to describe how displeased and disappointed I am. I paid hundreds of pounds for a room via a third party website. I had issues with the reservation. I called the third party, they tried to reach out to the hotel and didn’t get an answer. I tried reaching to the hotel via the third party chat and no one answered. I tried calling the hotel, (paying foreigner call fees) and not only did they not answer, they hung up on me. Note that I called during their working hours. They are not even able to answer the third party booking service… I hope whoever runs this establishment asking for hundreds of pounds for such terrible service feels ashamed. This is the worst customer service I’ve experienced. I booked with another hotel. Run away from this place.

Disgusting and unhygienic. I checked in at 5:30pm after my working day. And checked out by 8pm. First there was a spider dangling down from the dust filled walls. …

Absolute hell hole. Do not stay here. Filthy, smelly hotel. Broken door on wardrobe with no hangers, worn, dirty beds, broken toilet seat, mouldy shower and so dusty throughout. Left after 20 minutes and refused a refund. Total health hazard and should be closed down.

The only reason we stayed there was because of the great location.||We stayed in room 9 and when we got in we checked everything. …

I live in the area, and I had to book a two-night stay here, as my flat had no water. …

For our Abba Voyage experience the location was fabulous. We were glad to only have booked one night. First got offered the studio (as we were with 3), buy we couldn’t handle the bad hygiene and not appreciate the left behind milk butter and bread.Beds were fine. Bring earplugs as on very loud road. Overall will avoid coming back.Next door The Best Breakfast Place though called Grounded’. Now that I would reccommend! Lovely people too (unlike next door, hotel manager was not interested at all)

My relative was booked into this hotel as it was reasonably priced and right next to the DLR station as well as a short distance from family. The service was mediocre which is probably because they know it's well situated for someone on a tight budget in London. My family member was given a room on the 3rd floor up 4 steep flights of stairs which wasn't great given she their knee problem. I found it a challenge getting up and down the stairs to visit her. To be fair, it's what they had available at short notice. The hotel was generally clean and tidy. The bed looked comfortable although my relative didn't sleep a wink. The bed base of the divan looked a bit grubby but the bedding looked comfortable and inviting. The bathroom looked clean, but my relative expressed concern that the hot water was too hot and feared being scolded by it.There were a few shops and a petrol station close by, a drive through McDonald's about a 10 minute walk away and an Enterprise branch across the road which could be an attractive option for someone wanting to hire a car to drive to Essex or Hertfordshire which are not very far from this location.Overall, If you're looking for a clean place to sleep at night in London with access to public transport and close proximity to central London for a reasonable price I think it's a good option to consider.

Absolutely dreadful. Booked two nights and escaped after the first. Everything is broken, tired or dirty. A unhelpful and bored reception greets you after waiting outside for a while as the buzzer rings. …

Room booking scam OVER £160!We booked three rooms for a total of seven people, five minutes after booking the receptionist called and said that our one room was unavailable but two rooms accommodate seven people. The value of one room is over £160 It's been over 5 weeks and neither the hotel nor booking can help us get our money back for no service! Plus the hotel is a disaster. Let me explain.A complete tragedy to stay away from this hotel. We asked for a towel that belonged to the bed, we didn't get it, no dryer, the water does not go down in the shower, broken curtain, broken bed, not enough towels, strange smells, constant noise.
