Had a lovely one night stay here, whilst visiting London to see a show. The location is great. Yes there are renovations going on at the moment but we were aware of this in advance so it was not a problem for us. …

Super impressed by the Holiday Inn Oxford Circus. The room was amazing - looked like it had been recently renovated and fresh, felt high end boutique. The staff were very lovely and pleasant to chat to. The hotel itself was undergoing some renovations but made use of the facilities available. Would more than happily stay again and recommend to others.Only very minor point was - the room appeared to have a coffee machine but no pods? Just instant coffee in the box next to it. Seemed a bit odd!

To be honest, I was pretty disappointed with this hotel. The location is good, close to the tube and walking distance to Oxford Street. But it’s also a hotel undergoing a major renovation.  …

1) This hotel was a mess. The entire establishment except for the actual room was under construction and we didn't receive an email notifying us of this prior. I never write reviews like this but I'm not exaggerating when I say the entire property was basically a condemned construction zone. 2) There were construction noises starting at 7:45AM on the Friday and Saturday morning of our trip. This is unacceptable 3) Because the entire place was a construction zone there were no restaurants on site AND there weren't even accessible lobby bathrooms. We weren't even given water in our rooms! 4) Every time we walked into the hotel the front door was WIDE open and there was no one at the front desk. Each time we entered the property the staff was huddled in the back room. This is just poor security especially that it was happening after 11pm each night. 5) The lift broke on the last day so we had to carry our luggage down the stairs!I will 100% never stay here again and I'm writing a public review so as many people as possible will never stay her either.

The hotel seems to be in the middle of a makeover. I was lucky enough to get one of the rooms on the 5th floor that had just been renovated. The new decor is modern and comfortable. …

For London standards this is actually pretty good value for money. Location is pretty central and the rooms are getting renovated so it also feels kind of new inside.Breakfast room was under renovation so can't comment there but I'd definitely return.

Was not advised before booking that both the restaurant and bar were shut for refurbishment and no room service. The room had been refurbished and was very nice, as was also the bathroom. The hotel did offer full refund but this would have ruined all our plans to move to another hotel as such short notice.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Holiday Inn. I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn for years but we tried this one after having an issue at a nearby hotel and urgently needing a place to stay. The lobby is nothing exciting (maybe it's being renovated?) but the room was lovely. The bathrooms are newly renovated. Awesome rain showers. The service was great too. Really nice front desk and staff in general. The location can't be beat. Marylebone is such a beautiful area of London with awesome restaurants and cafes. Went to a fantastic restaurant called Delamina around the corner. Would definitely stay here again.

What an unpleasant experience! Booked online via their own website several weeks beforehand. Arrived at 10pm to be told there was no booking in my name. I showed them their confirmation email they sent to me the day before and they said the booking number didn’t exist. The first proposed solution was that I pay for another room and they’d see if they could refund it in the morning - that is after having read the confirmation email they sent me! The chap on the service desk was keen to point out that this wasn’t my fault but it wasn’t his either. Perhaps not, but it was your problem to solve mate! After half an hour of unpleasantness from their side we were finally given a room with broken aircon. Won’t be using Holiday Inn again. And one last thing… if you’re going to do an NPS survey to measure customer satisfaction the number one rule is that you don’t distort your results by trying to manipulate the respondents by explaining how responses are collated. That a global brand puts a sign up in the lifts saying “Please don’t score us 1-7 because it’s scores our team as a 0” makes your marketing team a total joke (I appreciate only those with a marketing background will understand this point. For everyone else, just ignore anything you might read about Holiday Inn customer satisfaction - it’s totally fabricated by them.)
