We booked into this dump on our holiday to London, UK on 2 July 2024. After booking from 2 to 9 July, we checked out in the morning of the very next day (3rd July) with no refund (there is no one there even to talk to, let alone get a …

Nightmare of a stay!!There was another reviewer who was there during our same stay (never met them) so while we didn’t have bed bugs when she did, we had a room with curtains falling off the rod, a 1.5 ft crack in the wall, mold growing on the bathroom walls and in the shower caulking, the shower knob doesn’t stay on and the carpet stinks like 50 years worth of filth. I refused to walk barefoot in this place. The shower didn’t have hot water one night and the other night it was scolding hot. No happy medium. The hotel doesn’t answer their phone either that they give you the number for. The carpet in the stairwell is ripping up and someone fell down the stairs at night because the hallway light is broken. You have to use your phone flashlight to see the stairs. There is no breakfast like it’s advertised and probably wouldn’t trust its cleanliness after seeing the rooms. It’s comical cuz they have a level 4 hygiene rating but this place is straight up disgusting! If they spent the money they collect back into this place, it could be charming as it has potential but in the mean time, I’ll never be back and I would not let my dog sleep there. Do not stay here. We saw the receptionist one time and never had an opportunity to talk to them about it. It’s not worth the price whatsoever and not worth the stress or feeling dirty. The pictures are very misleading if you compare my photos to the ones they advertise (same room). Do yourself a favor and look the other way. You could not pay me to go back.I should add- we booked a different hotel that cancelled our stay and offered this accommodation. Being from the US and on a plane, I had no idea this was the disaster I was walking into. Seriously, run. Run as fast as you can. According to other reviews- it’s had 7 years of bed bugs. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

NIGHTMARE HOTEL.LONG STORY SHORT: DISGUSTING WITH BED BUGS AND NO REFUND.Save your time and do not book this horrid hotel.Day 1 - we tried to shower and the shower was BOILING HOT WATER. The faucet was broken and we were unable to adjust it. Brought it up to a staff member, the only one there, who said "Sorry. Nothing we can do. It's broken." ??? We were staying almost 2 weeks. We needed a shower. It's bare minimum.Day 2 - We woke up covered in bed bug bites. Disgusting conditions. Took apart the sheets to find them all over the mattress. We took photos of our bites and the bugs. Brought it up with the hotel manager, who was IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT EVEN THROUGH OUR BOOKING AGENT. We checked out immediately through the only staff member available who comes in once a day to CLEAN.Worst part? No refund. Physical and emotional trauma of having to bring everything to a laundromat, wasted a day washing our clothes, covered in bites the entire trip, and no refund.DO NOT BOOK. Needs to be shut down for the conditions. Not sure how it's running. Many other hotels with similar prices who offer much more with at the very least, no bed bugs.

A very basic room with no facilities except a tiny tv . We had 2 small towels one with a hole in it and the bed was old and uncomfortable, We could feel the springs in the wafer thin mattress and the paper thin blankets are just useless. We’ve checked out and gone elsewhere for the rest of our trip.

This years Fawlty Towers Award goes to.... {drum roll} Hotel Normandie!!!!Room itself okay, but the floors was kinda jinky. I had the feeling I could step through the floorboard under the carpet any moment.Toilet couldn't flush properly, no temperature control in the shower and the sink took ages to empty. And something must have changed with the neighborhood. I have stayed in the Paddington area more or less every time I have been to London, but this time it was really noisy at night. People shouting obscenities and the constant wailing of the sirenes from various emergency vehicles.

Horrible choice ever done, first time see hotel forbidden visit all the time. I come London for business and holiday, has to meet friends sometime. Also no luggage saving is disgusting, especial when you feel not well.:(Can’t sleep by dirty bed sheets middle of night every day, most torture thing is room clean starts around 8,disturbing few hours and get sick.Get sick from cold room, start have fever and flu. Feel almost dead there, it’s like living haunted house.Reception is lazy and never pick up the phone, when something urgent even blocked my call. It’s no worth to spend £1000 here, for few days. I can get better hotel in city centre :(

Terrible reception, just locked outside whole night when I left my keys in the room. Staff even blocked my call, almost got homeless treatment.Room is freezing, no heating and water pot and cup, ridiculous no hairdryer. The bed is uncomfortable make skin itchy and bed sheets so thin, with out any blanket. No hot water all the time!No joking. Next door hotel 24 hours reception, has lift much clean, has hotel standards. And breakfast in including, I been fooled by online booking, please don’t come here. This is life advice:(

OMG, this is the worse hotel we've had to sleep in, no hot water, no tea or coffee making facilities, bedding worn and old, furniture from antiques Road show, not even glass or cup to wash teeth, never 3 star minus 3 yes should be condemned or shut down, mould in shower room, water temp will not turn, toilet running all the time when flushed, not hygienic at all, do not book you can get a lot better for same price only positive is location no one to complain to supposedly 24 hr reception, nobody there, desperately needs health and safety check
